    On 5/6/2022, I ****************************, paid Bud's Auto $4000.00 to rebuild the engine of my 2011 ******* Elentra. I never received an emailed receipt. ******************* informed me she had a cart full of parts and she was waiting for me to send the money over to begin the work, but shortly after I paid for the service I was informed via text, *** (*******************), got covid. I was informed my car was taken to their personal property due to issues they were having on the business property. My husband ***************************************** attempted several times to get updates however, they were not provided unless we called them. For a period of time, we did not receive any updates and my husband had to make the 1 hour and 30 min drive to see what the hold up was. We did not receive our car back for 9 months. The updates we received always entailed a problem they had however, **** informed me my motor was finally out of the vehicle in July of 2022. After I finally received my car back, it died 3-4 times, I took it to Bailys Auto in ********, **, they informed me there were many many issues. I have attached their estimate. My car has not been driven outside of pick up from ***'s Auto, taken to the body shop, driven to my house in ******, **, and taken to Bailys Auto. **** wanted my husband and I to give the car back, but I do not trust their integrity, I have attached their recent ***************** involving criminal activity. It took 9 months to get my car back, I could not afford any more repairs, I am at a loss. I asked for a refund, they were unwilling to provide any refund. They wanted me to give the car back, the car is undrivable, they offered to pick it up, however, they would not respond when asked if they could guarantee a faster turn around of 3-5 business days. Noted from ******* Auto, it should only take 3-5 days to rebuild an engine, especially if **** mentioned they had a cart full of parts.
