            Took my truck in to have break inspection done on 8/17/22. Was quoted a crazy price for front break pads and rotors so I went to another shop for repair. My tire completely came off my truck while driving down i5 south on 8/25/22. ******************* confirmed they never touched the back tires on their free inspection. I called Hawks Prairie Automotive at 3:17 pm on 8/26/22 and was told YES all 4 wheels were taken of for their inspection and as soon as I told them what happened they started denying responsibility immediately. I was promised a call back later that day I never received then I called all day from open to close on 8/27/22 and got no answer. Today they claim they called and my number rang and rang and never went to voicemail, but my correct number is in fact on my invoice from this shop. They have done little to nothing to communicate with me and today are claiming they never took the tire off either. But just a few days ago I was told (on a recorded line, that yes, they took my tire off. My wheel has about $1000 worth of damage now that I want repaired.

            If I could give this store and the store manager ***** a zero I would. Almost ruined my car and diagnosed issues that werent even on the car. They stated that I needed a new engine because mine had a crack when the engine wasnt even cracked. The technician left numerous things unconnected and didnt replace screws which couldve damaged my engine. The store manager is arrogant and only wanted to help resolve my issue respectfully when he heard my husbands voice over the phone. All in all I dont blame the technician because hes a reflection of his manager. Paid $2800 and they only want to refund $977. I cant believe that this place is BBB accredited and this is the second accredited repair store I went to that was absolutely terrible. Surely this cant be the standards we expect for BBB accredited places.
