      I took my 2017 chev Tahoe in for diagnoses at Haselwood Chevrolet and was told I needed lifters and potentially cam replacement. I was given a quote of approximately $4500 for the lifters. After they got into it they said cams needed done (one side only). They then quoted me additional $9,718 to do that work. my bill came to $18,481.00. They had my car for six weeks and the rental car cost $1960.00 included in that bill. I have been told by many car people I could have had a new engine put in for a lot less than that. I am a 65 year old woman and I am not mechanically inclined. I trusted this company. *** never questioned the work or price Ive paid in the past to them. When I asked what would cause this problem I was told it might be from neglect. Well Ill tell you one thing for sure, I have taken impeccable maintenance with my checkups and oil changes and have paperwork to prove it. Ive only had the car since 2021 . Last year I spent 5k on the air conditioning system from the same company. I had to max out my credit cards to pay for this, I am retired and barely making it. I will be taking this to small claims court because this is just not right. A friend of mine hauls cars for them and called his contact there. He sent him my paperwork and said I could have had a new engine for that and someone would go over my complaint and get back to me. That was three weeks ago and nothing.

      Terrible experience! ******** was nice but once inside the finance what unprofessional service. Never again! No calls back from them or even emails. Once you sign and pay your money. Its over.

      I have an extended warranty for car issues and I investigated and found out I needed to sign and agreed to the dealerships diagnostic price and once the warranty company approved the repairs then I would only be on the hook for my regular $100 deductible when I took it in to drop off after making an appointment for my diagnostic I was then told that each issue is charged a diagnostic price and they are going to need 24 to 48 hours to get the diagnosis done I was supposed to have received a call by Friday at 4:30 p.m. and I didn't I contacted the service department when I realized I hadn't heard from them and they contacted me back the next morning and said nothing has even been started yet then when they finally did get back to me they still hadn't completed the diagnostics and they were wanting me to come in and sign a new contract for more money and I said not a chance is that going to happen when you guys didn't even start the diagnostics until the day after it was supposed to be done. I've heard nothing but bad things about this company and if it wasn't for my extended warranty program requiring me to go to the dealership I would have never gone there.

      Want to share my experience with Haselwood GMC in hopes that it spares other prospective customers the agony. I waited 8+ months for a custom ordered vehicle, only to have Haselwood sell the assigned VIN (likely to a higher bidder) on the same day of delivery. Full details summarized below, but in short I do not recommend buying from this dealer unless the car you intend to buy is on the lot and ready to be taken home same day. Full Story I custom ordered a ****** **** truck through Haselwood GMC and made a $500 deposit 3/10/2022 for a designated VIN. 256 days (8+ months) later, I received a text at 9am on 11/21/2022 saying the truck was unloaded at the dealership and by 12pm Haselwood called to say they sold MY truck to someone else in error. They chalked it up as an "innocent mistake". Spoke with GMC corporate and other GMC dealerships who confirmed that because order was made for me, it would be clearly marked as assigned to a buyer and not available for general salethey all hinted that Haselwood probably got an offer above MSRP given the current market and decided to take it although they claim to have sold for MSRP when I pressed the matter.??To resolve the issue Haselwood said they would find a similar vehicle and sell to me at invoice price, while continuing to hold my initial $500 deposit from March 2022. They initially sent over a few in-transit vehicles that didnt meet my requirements. On 12/22/2022 they said that they couldnt agree on a trade for any of the regions inventory, so only option would be to re-order with another 5-8 month lead time.Ultimately, I purchased a vehicle through another GMC dealership 12/22 and called Haselwood to ask for my deposit back same day. Have since called 3 additional times and emailed to request confirmation of the refund being processed, but still have not received confirmation.

      Paid a deposit and placed an order for an *** **** in March 2022. They said theyd expect it to take a 6 mo or maybe more because of supply issues. I made contact with them a couple times, just to check in. As the expected arrival date neared it became obvious that something was off. After struggling to get ahold of anyone I had to go in there face to face just to find out what was going on, because no one would respond to calls, texts, chat, or email for a week. Theyd lost the order and never placed it. It was mid August by this point and GM had stopped accepting orders on the ***s, so the truck now cannot be ordered. Their only solution was to try to sell me up to top of the line models for $6,000-10,000 more and with no timeline for those either. They wanted some time to try to find a better solution and asked for a day, I gave them two, then they ghosted me again for another week. Finally got ahold of them again and there was no different solution. I wouldnt recommend doing business with them. The communication is horrible or nonexistent if you actually need them. Their solution seems to be ignoring you. Ill be filing a dealer complaint with GM. The only way Ill ever be stepping foot on the lot again is to get my deposit back if they forget to process that too, which wouldnt surprise me. I directly emailed or CCed the dealership GM on least 3 occasions in the last 2 weeks and have never gotten a response.
