After years of being a customer with no claims, I had a storm come thru in the middle of the day which caused damage to my cars. After fixing the cars they canceled my insurance. So what was the purpose of insuring them, to just collect money until something controlled by God happens? Unbelievable, would not recommend them to anyone!Review from Chris W

Scottie S and David D have treated me unfairly. Ignoring my emails and making accommodations for my disability according to the ADA. Scottie S sharing confidential medical info which is a HIPPA violation without my consent. I asked several times for info I showed Scottie S voluntary and asked that my bank account statements with my acct numbers not be shared and my medical records in which he shared both without my consent or written permission. Asked they be destroyed and Scottie or David have not destroyed them. Including my fraud report which he was asked to destroy. Have given Scottie and David everything they have requested for my stolen vehicle of a 1967 Mercury Cougar. They have unfairly treated me like a criminal and refuse to give me a copy of my entire file. I asked what NRS code or law backs them not giving me entire file. Asked for a direct contact to HR and Ethics to file formal complaints and they have not responded. Also filed a complaint with the Nevada Dept of Insurance on they way my file is being handled.Review from Sondra F

I've never been subjected to the experience that I've received by this insurance company.... Whatever you do please keep shopping for a better company . This company came into our home and questioned our son about his finances , how he paid for his vehicle . This was a single car accident , with no injuries ..... Requested my cell phone records , they also asked for the convenient store receipt for a store that he stopped by on his way home . The claims adjuster also said that they would ask for surveillance footage from the store if he couldn't find the receipt . I felt like these questions were racially motivated because we are people of color ? They even asked if he had ever been arrested !!! I've had my driver's license since I was 16yr old and have never experienced anything like and I'm 60 yrs old.... And when I questioned this I was told that the claim was under investigation and did I know what that means . I then asked was this how they handled all claims they said that I couldn't out Talk Them . The cell phone is not in my son's name and that I didn't feel as thought I needed to give them my phone records . She no longer wanted to talk to me ??. I wouldn't recommend this insurance company to my worst enemy ??Review from Keith F

I have been a customer for approximately 10 years with 6 muscle cars and over the years switch out cars. Currently I have a 240z, 69 Firebird, 68 Camaro, 2002 Corvette and a Dodge. I and my family have never had a claim with Hagerty. The only times i tried to use them was for roadside assistance and after 5 hours they never showed up. We use our cars as a family to OC Spring cruise and car shows that benefit cancer and Children's Hospital. Recently my daughter was accepted to the United States Naval Academy. She no longer lives in our house as her address is the DOD Naval Academy, Annapolis MD. Hagerty is demanding I exclude her from my policy, as you can imagine I will not due that for many reasons. Has there been a new Executive Leadership at Hagerty? Are they against people who serve? Does anyone know another collector car insurance company?Review from Nicholas R

No communication from them, called in early 2023 to increase coverage after a restoration, was told that it was being handled. Two months later, called in for something, coverage was never adjusted. Said that they planned on calling me later in the year about it. Well, later in the year came, no word, and now Im being non-renewed due to a speeding ticket from 2022. They had no issues taking the monthly payments though.Review from Chris F

If I could leave NO stars I would. Horrible company could not care less about your car let alone a classic car. Will find anyway NOT to pay out. They want to dictate what they want done with your car. Avoid this company at all cost.Review from Abdul K

This company one of the worst company Ive ever seen. Almost 3 weeks they hanging my car insurance quote and during this 3 weeks they gave me 5 times quoted. ********** they quoted I was accepted but very next day they changed. There mind. 1st time they quoted for me $318 full year.2nd time they quote $475 3rd time quote $750( by verbal)4th time quote $1001.50 5 th time $1051.50 ********** they quoted I was accepted. Finally today July 11,2023 they denied and said my car not a collection vehicle.where was my friend has ***** acty 2007 which is they accept as a collection car. Its really strange. I asked people to please do not go with HAGERITY. They will kill your time for no reason. I am totally disappointed there customers service. They asked my bank information which Is already provided. I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Hagerty Insurance, and I must say that my overall impression of their customer service was incredibly disappointing. The lack of communication, being consistently pushed on the back burner, and feeling utterly neglected throughout the entire process made me question the value of the services I paid for.First and foremost, the communication from Hagerty Insurance was abysmal. It felt like pulling teeth to get any response or update from them. I would reach out multiple times, leaving messages and emails, only to be met with silence for days or even weeks. It left me frustrated and anxious, wondering if anyone was actually working on my case.Furthermore, Hagerty Insurance seemed to have no regard for my concerns or the urgency of my situation. Whenever I managed to get a hold of someone, I was constantly told that my issue would be addressed promptly. However, days turned into weeks, and I found myself continually being pushed to the back burner. It was as if my claim was not a priority to them, despite the fact that I had paid for their services.The most distressing aspect of my experience was the overwhelming feeling of being neglected. I chose Hagerty Insurance with the expectation that they would provide the necessary support and assistance during a difficult time. However, instead of receiving the help I needed, I was met with indifference and a complete lack of empathy. It was disheartening to feel like just another customer to them, rather than a person in need of assistance.In conclusion, my experience with Hagerty Insurance was nothing short of a nightmare. The poor communication, being consistently pushed on the back burner, feeling neglected, and not receiving the services I paid for left me deeply dissatisfied. * I wanted to give 5 stars BUT, I am extremely unhappy with my claim. I have been a hagerty customer for several years. I've insured alot of my vehicles with hagerty over the years and never missed a payment or filed a claim. I haven't had an issue until unfortunately when I filed a claim. I've also told many people about hagerty who eventually became customers and insured there vehicles with hagerty (20 to 30 individuals with several cars).I started a claim recently on my car for scratches and a dent which I dont know where they occurred. And since day one I've been receiving the run around getting asked for various things in order to move forward with my claim. I'm upset because I've paid for the coverage for all this time and now I'm 2 months in on my claim and my car is not repaired pushing me to pay out of pocket for my car to be fixed. Makes me question why am I paying for my car to be insured by this company and if I will continue to promote or be a customer for this company.
