Stay away from this guy! Hired him to be my GC and I did all of the coordinating, not once did he speak to the other contractors, his crews came with no tools I had to drive them around to pick up tools, they used my tools and left them all around the property and left shingles laying all around the yard the roof looks like they used a steak knife to trim the rakes. He tried to cut corners and when I confronted him he exploded into a rage and I was left with no option but to fire him. Other conversations with Dennis left some serious red flags about the lifestyle he lives!

Dynamic Hardscapes & Construction (DHC) was hired to quote and repair the customers dwelling after a fire, the insurance company and mortgage company were involved in this job. DHC started the project with a new roof, gutting the dwelling and framing a new utility room. From the beginning Mr. ********* demeanor was strange. He was living on the driveway and appeared to be under the influence daily. He complained about having no job and no money. On several occasions he asked me for money, stating that he wanted to do some of the work himself, because he was unemployed. On the morning of June 30, Mr. ******* called me stating that the funds for the job have disappeared (incoherently speaking) and stated that someone is trying to steal his house. I asked what he was talking about. Mr. ******* stated that the mortgage company was trying to cheat him out of the insurance money. He then asked me for money for the work that he claimed to have completed. When I asked about the work he did, he became enraged and stated again that he has no money or job. At that point I told him that DHC was no longer interested in doing any further work on this job and that the equipment that was there would be picked up immediately. Mr. ******* told me that he was going to ruin my life and business. The claims by Mr. ******* are false and could not be further from the truth. Thank you for allowing us to respond to this claim.

In response to dynamic hardscapes Dennis's crew did put on a roof with Many problems my son noticed some poor workmanship so with his help we went up on the roof where I found shingles that had no Architectural pieces to it both plumbing boots were cut one completely around nails didn't have any silicone or caulk on them it's still is lacking the last 15 feet of ridge cap there are several leaks in the roof. Dennis was supposed to seal the entire underside of the roof all of the joists and all of the two by fours in the house he didn't do any of the house the underside of the roof is patchy spots they didn't do and where they did do it it's so light that I'm sure it's not going to cover the smell. Part of the payment from the insurance company estimate is for general contractor overhead and profit which is for coordinating the job Mr. N******* did not once talk to either of the other subcontractors I did all that coordinating Mr. N******* didn't get the Porta potty that he was getting paid for so his cruise could have somewhere to go to the bathroom I have a text where I asked him if he would call the electrician and he said no can you call him pictures of what they claim to have sealed and Mr. N******* failed to get a building permit for months since I signed a contract and no building permit the building inspector showed up here and threaten to write me a ticketMr. N****** got upset when I told him I went to the kitchen shop he asked me why and I told him that the electricians needed a design plan so they could bring the house up to code so they knew where the outlets would be in the kitchen when I told him the price that I got quoted he told me we're not putting high-grade cabinets in here last time I checked it was the homeowners decision what's going to go in their houseAnd yes we had talked about me getting paid for gutting the house which I did and I have a judge who lives across the street who can corroborate who did the gutting so in short Mr. N******* did not for fill his part of the contract Mr. N******* got a $30,000 check and claims that all the money is gone and now he's going to put a lien on my house well Mr. nice he didn't get a permit he did this work built the utility room did the roof and now the building inspector is on me for it I can upload photos of the underside of the roof I can upload photos of the roof and I can submit witness statements of who did the guarding. Now I asked for my living situation yes I live in a trailer provided by state farm in my driveway I also three months ago fell ill and went numb from the waist down and to this day I am still feeling the effects of it and I'm pretty sure that's why Mr. N******* thought he could take advantage of me he's a thief and a fraudster thank you

I would like to add that this contractor will have to answer for his lies that he put in his rebuttal, he's trying to make up work that he did to justify $30,000 disappearing, and that's great. I will let everything play out, and if he doesn't return the money owed, legal action will be pursued. I can send photos of the Unacceptable workmanship if you so desire and proof that he lied about gutting the home, which will show his moral character! If possible I will update the outcome of this dispute that will end up 100% in my favor! Email************************ for photos and more.

In response to Mr. ********* rebuttal to DHC's, the roof was installed by a professional crew with many years of roofing experience. Damage claims by Mr. ******* are not consistent with the final inspections. As far as the inside-underside of the roof, the areas that were affected by smoke damage were sealed. Other areas, were covered by insulation and were not effected by smoke damage. With Mr. ******* speaking with the electrician and mechanical contractors, he had initiated both of them before DHC was ever contacted for this project. Overhead, is for coordinating materials and logistics. The profit portion is for the general contractor and has nothing to do with talking to the subs. With the high cost of materials and supply issues since COVID19, DHC operated at a loss on this job due to these factors. As far as Mr. ********* claims, they are baseless and DHC has fulfilled its responsibilities. DHC has not and will not put a lien on Mr. ********* property for any reason now or in the future.

I will not fight this on the internet. As I have stated, I have evidence of all of my claims of poor workmanship and poor business practices. Mr******** and these letters will be brought as evidence in the courts. As I stated previously,, I have texts, pics, and voice mails, and statements from his "PROFESSIONAL" crew. If that's what you call professional, maybe you better show up on the site more than 3x.
Thank you and my god be with you!
