      Apparently my review got deleted so I am writing another one. I received a VM regarding my one star review, but it didn't nullify the situation so I am sharing what happened in more detail: I do not live very close by a Soma store; in fact, the closest one is 40 minutes away. There is a Chico's that is 20 minutes away from me that has a Soma inside of it, so I thought that they could easily make my return. However, I was informed when I walked in that because they do not carry the items that I was returning, they couldn't actually return it using their system BUT they did offer to help me return the items with the help of customer service employee over the phone.The CS person assigned to us was a nightmare to work with and the Chico's employee was extremely apologetic to me during the entire return process and when we wrapped up, the Chico's employee said that if anything is wrong with the return, I will just have to drive to the nearest Soma to clear up the problems. The CS person said that they would follow up with an email regarding the return that had transpired, but that it might not arrive until 1-2 days later (which should have been a huge red flag). My hope was that the ** person was competent enough to handle a return by phone with the help of an employee that works for the same company that they do, but they could not. In fact, I was shorted money. So now I have to drive 40 minutes to a Soma location to fix what **************** neglected to do correctly the first time, and I no longer have the items in hand, so I have no idea how going to Soma will fix the situation, but the Chico's employee who assisted me said to call her if I have any issues while at the Soma store. Mind you, this was after I contacted Soma with questions through their online contact function and sent two emails that went unreturned. So I did my due diligence with this company, and now I am out money.

      I have never in my LIFE had such terrible online and phone customer service. Shame on you, Soma. Your in-store people are fantastic but trying to contact your team online or by phone is an absolute nightmare. I ended up doing a return by phone with the help of a Chicos/Soma associate (the Soma was within a Chicos store) and she and I were both completely put off by the customer service we endured. I also didnt receive all of the money back that I should have on my orders, so now I have to go to a proper Soma location to remedy the situation. Hopefully I can get my money back.

      First time placing an order, followed the guidelines as to sizing and sadly none of the items received fit.Apparently my items were not returnable, not even for an exchange.Instead they offer 10% on your next purchase....ABSURD!!

      Have tried multiple times to like their product because customer service was always so good. Not this time. Poor product and poor service. Will be taking my dollars elsewhere.

      I have been purchasing from Soma online for years, 20 years or so. about 5 years ago something changed in their production of a style of bra. I returned it no hassle.November 2023, I purchased over $300. Same sizes as all these years, the gowns I buy in size small. Three new ones delivered, I cut off the price tags NOT the labels. I was about to laundry them, but decided to try it on because it looked baggier. And yes it was! Soma is refusing to exchanged unworn items purchased within the same month.I am no longer shopping at Soma. I spend $500 a year with them. For a lady on SS that's alot of money!

      Quality of bras has dropped. I purchased two “Stunning Support Full Coverage” bras last year and BOTH had plastic inserts that broke. I purchased them online after the young salesperson in the store was completely unhelpful. When I brought the first one back to the store last spring to show them how it broke (I expected nothing) the sales clerk told me the bra was manufactured in 2001. How is that possible? She suggested a new style and I bought two, same size, same style but did not try on the second one and then found that second one was at least one size smaller but since I cut the tag off I was out of luck.

      Stopped supporting in 2014 due to product quality decline. That and the cashier was rude as h*** when doing the return. Odd I thought I left a review....I first enjoyed going to them because I struggle finding bras that fit me well. I supported them for almost a decade. Was satisfied customer until they decided to have a decline in the quality of their product. After receiving defective bra after bra and not being able to return them I just said to h*** with it and fought for one. The cashier was rude as heck and almost refused me a return. I get it tag clipped no return. However, if youre so unsatisfied and ended up spending almost $100+ in bras (back in 2014 this was a lot of money.) I expect a return on my product especially if the straps break after 2 mo of use. When the store in my area first opened customer service was excellent. They fitted me correctly and made sure Id find a few that fit me before leaving. If they didnt have it in stock theyd happily ship it to your home address. Before the days of internet buying became popular. About 2012 I started running into quality issues with products. Any where from the material being shoddy, to the straps breaking after a couple mo, the elastic wearing out a lot sooner than 3 mo. The prices in their stores were already expensive to begin with and even by todays (2023) price standards theyre still expensive. I generally will spend more for quality but if I spend more and get less quality I shall not support your location.Another thing that was tediously annoying: They have their own cup sizes. Their sizes are unique to their distribution which sucker you into coming back. They are not traditional bra sizes.

      Wish I could give zero stars. I went to return some bras that I hate the fit of. I was 4 days past the return date. These bras were brand new with tags. I asked if I could just exchange or get a merchandise credit. The answer was NO. Never had a store do this. My fitting was terrible too. Terrible customer service. Will never purchase anything from them again and share this with everyone I know.
