This seems t be their business practice: they generate a shipping lable so that they can bill you. They seem to have items that are out of stock. They ship your item when they can get it, so they bill you a similar, but not exact, item to make it difficult for you to return it or complain.I waited 5 days, then sent them a polite email asking for an anticipated ship date. In 2 more days I sent them a second email. They seem to have given up replying to emails. Eleven days after being billed I called my credit card company and the CC company gave me a credit on my account.That is how I handle people like these.

Be careful when doing business with this company " Seed Barn" . When you order a product and they're out of stock,what they'll do is ship you another product what the y deem acceptable replacement without contacting you to see how you wish to handle this out of stock issue and being it's your money,thier shady business tactic of not contacting you is unacceptable and it happened to me when I ordered two bags of Lesco 16 4 8 fertilizer with 3% iron. They were out stock and shipped me 16 4 8 with 1% iron for 8,000 sq ft from 10,000 sq ft without consulting me. My order receipt clearly shows what bag of fertilizer I ordered and I choose the iron 3% as it's what I've used in the past for greening up the grass shade darker and it's the fertilizer my customer choose from my recommendations. When you do business with this company do it through Pay Pal if possible for the money back guarantee if product isn't as describe, etc or go to your credit card company and file a not as describe product dispute charge back to your credit card. My recommendation would be to avoid this company and shop elsewhere.

I ordered two bags of Lesco 16 4 8 fertilizer that had a percentage of 3 % iron and would cover 10,000 sq ft for a customer and what I received was two bags of 16 4 8 with 1% iron to cover 8,ooo sq ft. I contacted them and sent a photo of what I received that clearly showed what I ordered was indeed what I didnt receive and the person who was handing my complaint agreed and said she would sent another bag,then sent a text saying other wise. Stay clear of this shady comapny and the crooked business tactics.

I ordered 2 bags of grass seeds. One was suppose to be the Rebel Tall Fescue Grass Seeds for 107.95. What I got was a 92.00 bag of Rebel seeds that I could have purchased at my local home depot or Lowes store. It was not in the bag that was displayed on the website. 2 weeks later the other bag I ordered came. It was suppose to be Tatan Rx. What I got was a plain bag with a typed label staple to it saying that it was Tatan Rx.I don't know if it is what I ordered because it was not in the bag that was displayed on the website I emailed them and explained to them but never got a response. Very disappointing.

I purchased citric acid. Two days after purchase I was provided and 'invalid' tracking number. After 11 more days the tracking was still invalid. I, the customer, reached out and asked what was going on. I was told that they had run out and were waiting on a new shipment that should arrive that day or the next. A colleague called and was told that in three to four days, Seedbarn would receive its shipment and start shipping out. Communication is not consistent, I had to call to confirm that the email I received was incorrect. My order still hasn't shipped, and nothing is being done to compensate the time I've had to wait outside of their turn around time. A customer service representative offered to refund shipping, when there is no minimum, free shipping being offered for months. How are they going to refund free shipping. As a small business owner, I have to eat the losses occurred during this time just waiting, and the company doesn't seem to care.

They charged me for something they didn't even have in stock and told me it shipped. They create a label so they can charge you but they don't even have the products in stock. They are scammers! They are scammers! They are scammers! They are scammers! They are scammers!
