Thank you for your feedback. We apologize that your perception of the recent experience with us was less than ideal when you called in for a warranty claim.
Your Owens Corning warranty does not include old fascia metal. At the time of the install, flashing and metals are inspected and tacked back in place if needed. However, the fascia metal, soffit, and other components of your home are not covered in a roofing warranty unless other components were installed brand new. Your installation was completed several years ago, and with the recent high winds and rain from the hurricane, the other components of your home that were not replaced are not typically covered under a roof warranty.
We appreciate the call you had with our team to talk a little bit more about your entire experience from the original install, to the recent fascia metal concern.
We are pleased that your original installation went great, as you expressed on our phone call.
We are sorry that you felt our timeline for repairs after a hurricane were not acceptable, and that fascia metal is not typically included in a warranty claim for a new shingle roof.
