Work was done in a professional manner and on time. I wasn't present at the time of the demolition and resurfacing but my neighbor oversaw the work and kept me apprised of the progress.I was also supplied with photos of each stage of the work by the contractor. When I was finally able to view the finished project I was pleased with the work. It looked great.I would certainly recommend Pool Deck and Concepts.

Its easy to write a glowing review when everything goes well. Its a bit tougher when problems arise. So, the fact that were writing a very positive review after experiencing some significant problems is an endorsement of Pool + Decks professionalism and willingness to stand behind their work. So, heres our story. We hired Pool + Deck Concepts to completely renovate our lanai and pool/spa areas. About 18 months after the project was completed, we noticed a crack in ********* pebble finish. Upon further inspection, we learned that the new finish was pulling away from the shell in multiple locations. Although both parties obtained input from different professionals, the exact cause of this failure was never fully explained. However, Pool + Deck did agree to correct the situation. Both ***************************** and ************ were personally involved in working through the problem identification and resolution phases. They executed the remediation plan flawlessly and in a timely manner. We are extremely happy to report that our pool once again looks beautiful!

Don't walk away, run away! We hired P&DC for a pool ****. They started out strong, but about midway through they started making mistakes and failed to fix them. I was not going to write a review and just let by-gones be by-gones, but after the most recent customer service fail I don't want others to have the same experience.When the crew installed the gunite on the pool walls, they put all of the extra gunite in a big pile right on the middle of my backyard! I called to ask them about why this was being done and the project manager told me that with rain and irrigation it would just wash away. Totally untrue and I should have known better. The pile remained and started killing my grass. While waiting for them to clean it up, I was throwing a glow in the dark ball with my son in the backyard one night and ran right into the pile of gunite and sliced the heck out of my left foot. Obviously I was extremely angry and let them know as much. They finally came out to clean it up and failed to get it all and I had to have my landscaper come and clean it up correctly. They also didn't properly fit many of the travertine tiles which moved when they were walked on. I had to fix those myself. When we called the owner a second time about the tiles, she came out and started screaming at my wife while the rep looked on. I was in my home office and had to get off a call to go outside and see what was happening. The owner was hysterically yelling at my wife and then me. I had to kick them both off my property. Lastly, at the the time of the original work they poured a 4x5 slab adjacent to the lanai deck so I could easily store my grill on it. When they poured the slab they didn't pour footings or secure it to the original deck at all. The slab is now pulling away from the deck and wrecking all the tiles. When I emailed about it, they told me to have my landscaper put some dirt under it to hold it in place. What an absolute joke! Run, don't walk away.

pool and. deck concepts installed very cheap travertine.It is very porous and gets stained very easily by grass or mud etc.It is impossible to get the stains off.The owner refused to listen to our concerns or offer suggestions. Management except for Josh are interested in getting their payments and no time for customer service. They also referred us to an unreliable cleaning service.

We love the pool that Pool and Deck Concepts designed and installed for us. Their people were true professionals and their workmanship was superior. Our project was a new pool installation. The space was tight (between the house and surrounding trees) and wet weather caused delays, but PDC delivered. Now we have a beautiful pool in a delightful setting.

We recently completed a project (4/2022) with PDC and were very happy with the outcome. Very rarely do I go without a personal recommendation but after working with 5 other companies Trish earned our trust. Her knowledge, attention to detail and follow up was excellent especially in a world where those traits sometimes are not a priority. The project entailed a refinished pool, new skimmer, light, new water line tile new pavers and coping, new lower screens and 2 new screen doors. The project was actually finished sooner than we expected which was a nice surprise. From A to Z everyone was professional and easy to work with.

I recently had my pool, pool deck ,and Lanai completely renovated by Pool and Deck Concepts. The renovation of the pool included removal of all tile on the waterlines and steps with new tile installed, removal and replacement of the bullnose and redoing the entire finish of the pool. The deck and lanai had paver stones put down in the entire area along with a new hand rail replaced. The cage was prescreened from the chair rail to the deck. Beginning with the proposal process for this project through the completion of this renovation I can not think of an instance when Pool and Deck Concepts did not exceed all expectations. Everyone I had contact with provided the most professional and friendly service which made this entire experience painless. Trish was my original contact and walked my wife and I thought each element of what we would be looking at for the renovation. She was extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the work being requested and added suggestions to make the renovation better than what we originally envisioned. The contracted price was easy to understand for work to be performed and the cost of materials. She was wonderful. Our project manager was Edgar and I can not say enough about this gentleman. We were not living at the home when the renovation project was done. Edgar did an outstanding job of keeping me informed on every aspect of the project as the work moved along. He established the timetable for the job and if there was any change in the schedule he always notified me in advance. If I needed to contact him for any reason during the renovation he responded immediately to me. His attention to detail with all aspects of the renovation resulted in a first class job for the entire project. I cannot underestimate how impressed I am with his performance. This company deserves the high ratings they receive. They are a quality operation obviously due to the caliber of people that represent them. I would not hesitate to recommend Pool and Deck Concepts for any projects they would be involved with.
