TERRIBLE INCOMPETENT SERVICE!! RIPPED US OFF OVER $2000.00!!Called Bergau in Nov 2022 to fix a leak that was thought to be coming from our toilet and leaking down into the apartment below. This was directly after hurricane *** and the apartment below was gutted to the studs so all the plumbing was exposed. The guy that came said it was the toilet seal and replaced that and reset the toilet. It was still leaking. Then he determined it was a pipe joint that was bad and proceeded to saw out pipes and replace. he cut the wrong pipe and ended having to replace a lot more piping because he said it was all bad. He did not seem like he really knew what he was doing. Once he got all the pipes replaced which ended up taking multiple days he said it was fixed and flushed the toilet several times to make sure. Nothing leaked at that point. My fianc proceeded to pay the $2086.18 worth of unnecessary work with his credit card and while the plumber was running the card through I decided to run the shower in that bathroom which is right next to the toilet and sure enough water was gushing from a pipe into the downstairs unit again. He then decided that our seal around our shower drain wasn't sealed properly (which we firmly believe was caused from all his cutting pipes and moving pipes) so he put some silicone around it and said to let it dry and check it the next day. It still leaked. We call him and he was perplexed and said he would need to come back the next day with someone more expierenced. My fianc called him the next day when he didn't show up and he told my fianc that the shower wasn't his problem, he fixed the toilet and that was all he needed to do!!! My fianc then called the office and asked to speak to a supervisor and the "supervisor" told him the same thing, not their problem!! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!! They will rip you off!!!
