We reside in an adult community (age 55+) exceeding 400 families. A leak developed in a bathroom toilet that required the replacement of the ****** and wax ring where the waste water exits into the floor drain pipe. Every expectation from our initial phone contact with this organization to completion of the repair, was substantially exceeded, and we will certainly use this company as necessary for any future plumbing repair. We will also recommend use of the same to our friends and neighbors in this community and elsewhere. The service tech ***** was punctual, courteous, knowledgeable and very neat. He kept us informed of his progress and necessary addition details that would need to be accomplished to complete the project. If this is typical workmanship provided by all the technicians from this organization, you can be sure of a very satisfactory result to your plumbing issues at a fair price.Review from Syd K

We remodeled our Kitchen and 2 bathrooms. We called Professional Plumbing to do all the plumbing work. Unfortunately, the remodel did not go smoothly, took much longer than we had expected and because of the various inspections, permitting, etc., the plumbers had to come out to the house multiple times. But Professional Plumbing was great to work with, they were very patient every time we had a setback, and they were always there when we needed them. The plumbing and fixtures in the finished kitchen and bathrooms look great, we were very pleased with their work. I even felt like I did not pay them enough for all the work they had to do, and how many times they had to work around the other contractors and wait for inspections. This is the only Plumbing company I would ever call! They are honest, hardworking, dependable, and just great guys!

Had Professional Plumbing here twice to fix two separate leaks outside by the curb where my backflows are located. They fixed the leak by connecting my home water to the sprinkler system backflow which is illegal. I found that out this week only because my sprinkler system needed repair and when they shut off sprinkler backflow the water in my home shut off. I called Professional Plumbing every day for 3 days and they said it wasn't them and were not sending anyone out to check. I've had 2 leaks in that area due to an Oak Tree right next to my backflow's and Professional Plumbing fixed it both times. Once for $747.00 and the other for $423.00. I couldn't complain to the Water Dept because they would only shut my water off, so I had to get another professional to fix it, the right way, which cost me $500.00. I think they should be responsible for that.

We were actually there 3 times to repair 3 different leaks 6 years apart. On 2/20/2016, we charged you $250 to repair a leak by the meter and backflows - both backflows are piped together with one meter, which is both proper and legal. We then came back on 6/17/2016,4 months later, to repair a different leak by the oak tree and charged you $747 to excavate the roots so we could locate the underground leak, repair it, and rework the piping. On 2/15/2022, almost exactly 6 years later, we came back to repair a third underground leak caused by the new growth and we charged you $423. At that time, we also recommended rerouting the line to avoid future leaks. On all 3 occasions, you signed off on the price before the work was performed and signed off again once the work was completed to your satisfaction before paying the agreed upon amount.

Very displeased. This company made an unauthorized credit card charge belonging to my 86-yr. old mother given to them by a legally blind 93-yr. old companion. He could not read the blurry red carbon copy to see they charged $667.00 for a simple garbage disposal and toilet leak check. The tech was there 1 hr. When trying to appeal to the Manager, it was met with no consideration for a reduction in fee--not even nominally for good customer relations. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. As another reviewer notes, I also wish it were possible to give a minus 10 rating for preying on the elderly.Professional Plumbing & Design, Inc. Response

We have not stayed in business for nearly 40 years by preying on the elderly, or anyone else, and the work was, not only, authorized, but the price was agreed upon, before the work was performed, and the customer signed off that the work had been completed to their satisfaction - before paying the agreed upon amount. The $667 your mother was charged included $439 for installing a new garbage disposal unit (that’s the price of the unit, plus the installation of the same), $149 to completely rebuild the guest bathroom toilet, and a $79 diagnostic fee. Those prices are fair and consistent with our competitors’ prices.

I paid $59.00 for estimate of replace bathtub, faucets and shower and received no estimate they texted me and inform me they are to busy to have any more account, i don't know why they charge me and why they are not returning my money, i paid for something i did not getProfessional Plumbing & Design, Inc. We apologize for any misunderstanding, but we were asked to provide an estimate to "replace some faucets" and that's what we came out for. Once there, the technician was asked to provide a quote for 2 complete bathroom remodels and a kitchen remodel so he spent 2 hours gathering the information he would need to review with the Service Manager to put together the requested quote. Unfortunately, like most contractors right now, we're dealing with severe labor shortages so, rather than quote you an exorbitant amount of money or schedule the work for months out, we reached out and explained, honestly, that this job was more than we could take on right now. We like it when people are honest with us, and we offer our customers nothing less than that.

I would put a -10 if I could for trying to take advantage of the elderly!! Quoted one price to unclog a toilet then tried to double it! Not to mention creating a hole in the pipe coming from the toilet with over a $1000 quote to fix! Saying all pipes need replaced at another $4000+ aND THAT THERE WAS ALOT OF DEBRIS UNDER THE MOBIL HOME! Well try telling that to someone who had not had a recent Duct Change out and sub floors replaced!Professional Plumbing & Design, Inc. Response

We have not stayed in business for nearly 40 years by taking advantage of the elderly, or anyone else, and one of the things we pride ourselves on is the fact that we offer “upfront pricing” which means that all jobs are quoted before we start and we stick to the quoted price, even if it takes us twice as long, because that is the price the customer approved. Beyond that, we never actually performed any work for you (we only gave you a quote) so the accusation of “creating a hole” is not only unfounded but, had we created a hole, we would have fixed it. Lastly, it seems quite reasonable to think that the debris under your mobile home was the result of the recent ductwork and sub floor replacement. Our technicians would have no reason to lie about that as the quote was not based on the amount of debris and they do not work on commission – another thing we pride ourselves on.

It took several days to get a plumber to replace my bathtub facet and shower head combination. I had been quoted $350 from an earlier estimate but when plumber Steve W showed up he told me the price was $1048.
He then installed a bathtub facet that was loose at the wall mount. The on and off water lever was hard to turn and the water stream from the shower head was way to strong. It took several weeks to get someone to fix the problems. When Steve W showed up he yelled at me and said he did everything according to my directions which is a total lie. He eventually fixed all of his bad workmanship but the abuse I took from him was totally unprofessional and totally uncalled for.
I immediately called in a complaint about his behavior to their office requesting he never be sent to my home again. If I could I would give Professional Plumbing a 0 rating instead of a 1.Professional Plumbing & Design, Inc. Response

The $350 estimate you reference was not from Professional Plumbing & Design. We quoted you $999 to remove a 3-handle tub/shower valve, replace it with a single posi-temp valve, and repair/replace the drywall and trim that is not a $350 job. Our prices are fair and consistent with our competitors prices. The $1048 price that you agreed to,before the work was performed, included the above-mentioned work, as well as replacing the main shutoff valve, which was an additional charge, and you signed that the work was completed to your satisfaction before paying the agreed upon amount.
