      I ordered a small double dog bowl diner online, sight unseen and it came out perfect! Thanks to ********* and ***** for helping me pick out the perfect wood stain and top color to match our kitchen area. It's beautiful solid wood with a Corian top. The benefits of having a raised dog bowl outweigh the cost of the product because it looks so clean and classy, offers maximum comfort, better digestion for my dog and the bowls can be easily removed for cleaning. Would order again from DutchCrafters.

      I purchased a dining room set with a table, four chairs and large hutch. The furniture arrived on time and as I ordered. The furniture is well made and beautiful. I purchased inside delivery and am glad I did. When the delivery team was putting the hutch together, they chipped one of the glass shelves. They were back two weeks later with a new shelf. Great service.

      I called their customer service line since I saw that the clock I like could be customized. I didn't want a battery-operated clock so I wanted to see if a wind-up mechanism could be installed instead which is really a pretty easy request. The lady said real abruptly, CAN'T HELP YOU BYE!. This really made me mad and rightfully so. I've had a few pieces made from here and I'm not sure that I will ever shop here again.

      I ordered a high chair for the blessed birth of my first grandchild in February. I was told that it was finished in early July and that we would receive it mid July. Then I was told that they double booked the shipping and that I would receive it by August 4th. When it didn't show up I spent 2 weeks harassing their customer service who could only say "be patient" they finally refunded the shipping costs. But all we want is what we ordered. We finally got a firm delivery date of August 27th. I confirmed the shipping appointment. August 27th comes around, and no chair. We call the delivery driver and were told that he doesn't know where our chair is. "It never made it on the truck" No calls or emails from anyone to inform us of this. I am seriously doubting the existence of our highchair. I am extremely disappointed. I can only deduce that this company is dishonest at this point.

      I ordered a very expensive large cart from my front yard and three years later the thing is disgusting. All cracked all peeling. I spent extra on a very expensive lacquer to protect it from the outdoors and its all peeling now.I wish there was a way I could leave pictures because you wouldnt really believe it. Stay away from this place you spend a lot of money for *****

      When you brought this matter to our attention, we had the woodworker make a new wagon body which has been delivered to you.  We understand that you felt the finish was different than your original wagon. The finish is the same but looks different because it is new and not yet weathered. It will look the same as it is used.

      I received the body of a new wagon. All of my wheels fell apart. I never received any wheels ,chair anything just a body, and it was a totally different color. What good is a new body when all the wheels are rotted falling apart after three years.

      My initial order has been placed with DutchCrafters along with a required deposit. There were options with the furniture finish and fabric that could be decided later. Within a couple of weeks after placing the order we determined the options we wanted. However, when I attempted to reach the company in Sarasota, and give them our selected options, the calls were automatically switched to a recording and my calls went unanswered. After a lengthy period on hold, a recording will ask to leave a voice message (name & number) for a return call within 24 hours. My recorded requests for a call back are ignored. This is not a one-time issue. I have found customer service severely lacking with this company.

      I was told my furniture would be done in September which was two months from the order. Then told February. Now it won’t be here until May. Almost a year later(11 months) They took two thirds of the cost and won’t return my email. When I first ordered this they went above and beyond to get my order now they have my money no one bothers

      DutchCrafters Amish Furniture, Amish Mission Secretary Desk, Product ID:XXXXX, estimated delivery time is 15-30 weeks stated on the web site for this piece. The order was placed on January 3rd, Paid in Full to include shipping. This simple flip down desk with one drawer and two doors, 24" wide and 41" high.       Monthly emails January through April state Original estimated delivery date was 6/7/22. No email were received in May. I go online to check on the order number and it has been changed to 9/5/22. Remember this order was placed January 3, 2022 and now it estimated delivery is September 5, 2022. It is unacceptable to wait nine months and receive no guarantee by the Reseller, DutchCrafters Amish Furniture that I will ever receive this piece of furniture.

      I called the company to request that the order be cancelled since they cannot fulfill the order in a timely manner. They said that it would take 3 to 5 days to cancel the order and there could be a 15% restocking fee on the order for the supplies bought for this project. They pass the blame onto their suppliers.

      It appears to me the supplier that they hired to build this simple little desk hasn't bought any supplies and hasn't even started on the project if the date just changed another 3 months. Beware that you may not get your furniture for a VERY LONG TIME while they hold your money! You are better off finding something in person at a store then purchasing through DutchCrafters who hires out to various Amish suppliers. This company does not follow-up with customers once the purchase is made and then they complain to the customer that they are paying more for the shipping then this piece would normally cost someone to ship.

      We understand your frustration with the delay of the completion of your order and share that frustration. Our woodworkers are challenged with delays as are so many in manufacturing at this time, but we are sorry that we are not able to get your order to you in the time that we had originally projected. An email was sent to you on April 28 with the updated estimated delivery date of 9/5/22. When a customer places an order with us and we submit that order to our woodworker, that woodworker starts the process of ordering the wood and other materials needed for the order. These are mostly small woodworking shops, and we commit to purchasing that order even if the customer cancels the order. This is why we charge a restocking fee on canceled orders, as is stated on our cancellation policy on the Terms and Conditions page on our website. But before doing so, we do contact the woodworker, as we have done with your order, to see if he is able to cancel the order without there being a cost to him. If so, we will cancel the order with no restocking fee. We are waiting to hear back from the woodworker regarding your order, and you will hear from your customer care rep when we have received that information.

      I remodeled my home in less time this past fall then this small piece of furniture is taking. I know what delays I faced. The only delay was for a custom size 24" awning window. We worked around that. All the oak material used for the project never had a delay. This little oak secretary desk takes alot less oak then I used in my remodel. To include the custom solid core oak doors with solid oak jams that were built and installed. Your excuses for the delay in material is not substantiated.

      Oak is not the only material needed. For example, the mechanisms for draw slides have been difficult to attain lately. The wait can be frustrating.

      Draw slides/guides can be purchased from any local big box store or even Amazon and if not at hand they can make them the old way with wood and a table saw. Both side mount and under mount slides can be made and retro-fitted. The easiest and most inexpensive are the undermount center draw slides. This piece has one drawer.

      If they are waiting on drawer slides to arrive then it wouldn't need to be pushed out 3 additional months totally 9 months to manufacture this small piece. This order was paid in full in January. The materials can be immediately ordered in advance of the build process.

      Drawer slides can always be used for another project. I just repaired an antique drawer for a chest of drawers with an oak center mount drawer slide.

      Still waiting for my refund! I ordered bed steps back in January when the website was quoting 12-16 weeks. This would have been the perfect timeframe, but it came and went with no steps. I cancelled the order and was told that there would be a 15% restocking fee, and that the $39.99 shipping to get the steps to me (even though that never happened) that I was charged could not be refunded (even though the small steps were put onto a truck/trailer with quite a bit of other items which were coming to you anyway). Thomas said in his email on April 25th, 2022 that I would be issued a refund that would show on my credit card account in 3 - 5 days. That was 20 days ago. WHEN WILL MY REFUND BE PROCESSED? I understand the whole supply chain conundrum, so please don't give a reply with that excuse. If the products are taking longer with any potential supply chain interruptions, then your website should immediately be updated to reflect such. I have emailed many times asking when my refund will be processed. Thomas answers other questions, but not that one. Seriously fraudulent for the company to hold funds like that, and to charge for shipping from your warehouse to me when that never happened. This had been a pre-order to see the quality before ordering the bedroom, living room, and dining room furniture. That won't be happening.

      Hello ******* We submitted a refund to your credit card on 4/28/22. On 5/12/22, upon your request, we provided you with documentation of that refund. If your credit card company has still not processed the refund on their part, we suggest that you provide them with the documentation of the refund. As you stated, supply chain challenges have affected the completion times of our furniture, and we are sorry that we were not able to get your order to you in the time that we had originally projected. When a customer places an order with us and we submit that order to our woodworker, that woodworker starts the process of ordering the wood and other materials needed for the order. These are mostly small woodworking shops, and we commit to that order even if the customer cancels the order. The woodworker has now completed the bed steps that you ordered, and we had it transported to our warehouse.

      Thanks for your reply. Note, however, that the refund was not processed until May 12th. That was not the posting date, but the date that Dutch Crafters processed the credit on their end. (As a point of reference, credit card accounts have options where one can look at the processing date and the date the credit is fully posted.)
