This business now operates as Carrollwood Cleaners and is involved in false and deceptive advertising. As with all dry cleaners, they commit to your dry cleaning being ready at a certain time, either same day or next day depending on when you drop off your drycleaning. However, the time they commit to, in both their advertising and in the receipt that you receive for your dry cleaning, is in fact not when it will be ready. The business knows this and admits to it. So, if you've been promised your dry cleaning between 5 pm and 7 pm on a given date, which is common practice with dry cleaners, they routinely will not have your dry cleaning ready for pickup because whoever does the actual cleaning for them does not deliver clothes back to the store until sometime between 5 and 7 pm, and some days after 7 pm, which is their advertised closing time. So instead of your cleaning being ready by 5 and available for pickup between 5 and 7 as advertised and promised, this business knows they cannot meet that advertised promise. I have also observed them telling customers who arrive for pickup between 5 and 7 to come back closer to 7, as they haven't received their delivery yet, and when they do return, they find the business has closed early before their advertised time of 7 pm, apparently to avoid customers who won't be receiving their clothes when promised. Other dry cleaners live up to what they advertise, there is no reason this business should be allowed to continue these deceptive practices.
