      I had a vendor charge me 5 times for a cheesesteak at Gasparilla ($110!) and I have been unable to reach the vendor about the charge since there is no contact information on their business page. When I disputed the charge with USF Federal Credit Union they refused to help me and denied my claim on the dispute, ignoring what I said during my call to the bank - simply stating the the charge matched the receipt (that I sent them and mentioned in my dispute). No one has called me to discuss this despite me calling to complain as a customer of the bank who has almost never filed a dispute on any charges. The customer support rep who answered the phone just said her boss was "busy" and I have not heard back days later.I do not recommend this bank! They do not seem to care about their customers even after 10+ years of being with them. It's incredible that they will not even bother to life a finger for their own customers, especially when the customer has been cheated. Horrible customer service.

      I only have a car loan though USF. I have been trying to pay it off early. Tried to do it electronically but their system wouldn’t allow me to. I called multiple times (almost daily) for several days. Spoke with one incompetent person after another until finally they told me couldn’t pay them the same way I had been while making payments. I finally had to just send them a check in the mail! The worst part is they made me pay interest every day while I battled their incompetence trying to pay off a loan ahead of time! I personally find that criminal. I even tried to send their president a message through their website to complain about this….but the link doesn’t work (won’t let you send the message]. No surprise there….just underscores the operation at this place.

      This place bought Darden credit union. Darden still uses Darden name. Darden uses paycards through Visa paycheck plus who rips off their customers. If you have a problem with the pay ard don't expect help through Darden or USF. They have no control over their own pay cards even though your told it Darden debit card. Calling them does nothing cause they don't hold your money. Its a sham USF Darden and Visa. Incompetent is to good of a word for them more like thieves.they have a A+ grade but have 1.5 stars. So BBB correct the A+ because it's not obviously.

      Terrible customer service and no leadership, no competent management no accountability. They issued me checks that for some unknown reason never clear my bank account. Had a check stopped for no reason. Had money in the account. No one can give me a straight answer. They're better banking options out there.

      I have had a relationship with USFFCU for 17 years, but never made it my primary bank bc it is difficult to use/ transactions aren’t in real time (is it 1999?) and most importantly, the lack of automated notifications. I have a car loan and a small credit card, both of which I pay twice monthly. During the first 3 months of Covid, when we first went into lockdown I missed my payments. Despite FCRA policies and just general goodwill, USFFCU reportd me 90 days late. Even 3 years later, it has RUINED my credit. And they lack any consideration for this. Then they reported a 30 day late payment that wasn’t 30 days late in June. And they charged off an account for $4- instead of sending a courtesy (or automated) email or call. My score has plummeted about 120 points due to these issues. When I call for help, they waste time looking at statements, going back and forth and everything under the Sun instead of doing the right thing. And I won’t even mention the hundreds of dollars in fees I discovered in trying to resolve this. All random and unexplained. I mentioned to them that I needed this fixed to get a biz loan. I didn’t mention that I need the loan to settle a small debt before taking on a nationally known brand as my business partner to expand my business. And we will w financing the expansion- but not here. They should give more consideration to how they treat people. In the service industry it’s literally your biggest asset.
