            On 4/28/2021 I brought my van to Mancini for it was running hot as well as making a loud noise from the engine. I was advised my radiator was bad & needed to be replaced. When my van was finished I turned the van on to leave. I see that my radiator was repaired.However, I still heard loud noise near the engine. I went back in ..one of the men that handles the front counter.. test dove my van. Explained it was nothing that would stall my van." It is probably a back fire or something. I do not have any time right now to look at it make an appointment. " I was disappointed after paying $500 and still had loud noise.. On 5/14/2021 my van starting to run hot again. I pulled to nearest place Pep Boys US 19 Port Richey. I was advised that there was a hole in my new radiator. The hole was caused by an apparent crack in the fan directly next to the radiator. The crack is what was making the loud noise under the hood. I paid $670 for another radiator and cooling fans.

            This place is horrible. They are holding my van for repairs that I did NOT authorize and he even admitted it. 45 dollars turned to 830 without a phone call to authorize. This place took the transportation for my service dog, for my disabled husband and all because they did work without my authorization..... And they want MR to pay for that....

            I apologize for the communication breakdown here. I reasoned with myself and saw that the customers are correct, they were entitled to an estimate before ANY work was performed no matter the consequences.  A known-good Cooling Fan Module was needed to test this vehicle for what we diagnosed may be the culprit part. One was not available,so I had to purchase a new one.  That part was installed, and the issue was resolved.  The parts used on this **** ****** Sienna were all necessary for the vehicle to be driven and not overheat.   I offered a settlement of charging cost for the parts, no labor charge. Cooling fan module, Thermostat housing, Thermostat, Thermostat outlet seal, Radiator cap,fluids at cost, and no labor.  They accepted.
