I called Velocity on a Saturdays night because my heat quit working. they came out that night and was able to replace a bad capacitor to get the system heating again. I can not thank them enough for there prompt service.Review from Ashley H

Have had Velocity out a few times to my property. Every time they come, the technicians are knowledgeable and friendly and have gotten me up and running within a couple hours max. I will always use them for my AC needs!

Velocity and sold my unit three years ago and I will recommend them to everybody. They come out every six months and perform a maintenance. They are very professional and I have had nothing but good things to say about them. I highly recommend their services.Review from LeeAnn H

I have used Velocity on both my rental and my new home I recently purchased in July. They provided prompt service and advise regarding my new home's system. The office staff was friendly and the technician was knowledgeable. I definitely will continue to use them and recommend them.Review from Tiffany M

My experience with Velocity has been terrible. I signed my proposal with them in April 2023, for soffit, ductwork, 2.5-ton **** unit, and pest control. The nightmare started with the soffit. they had to come out 7 times to get the soffit in and it still doesn't look good. This took months to get finished. Meanwhile, my old unit quit working, so they came and installed a new unit, although the duct work still wasn't in. When it came time to do the ductwork, the manager called me and told me they weren't installing the ductwork and would refund my money. I denied the money and told them they signed a contract for duct work and they're going to finish the job. They came out and installed the ductwork after a bunch of reset appointments and problems. That same night the ** unit flooded my bedroom. They left the ductwork completely open in the ceiling and it got so hot the unit started flooding. I had a friend come and close the ductwork in. I got so tired of dealing with Velocity, as it's been since April and the job is still not finished. They cut a huge opening in my wall to install the unit and never came back to close in the wall. They left plastic over it, which is terrible for the unit. the unit is not flush, it comes out past the wall and needs moved back to even close the wall in or I would have done it myself at this point. I also asked them to move the thermostat as its located right next to the unit, so I don't know the real temperature of the house. I can say, with new ac and ductwork the room on the far side of the house doesn't cool well. They also did not do an inspection and didn't put a vent in my bathroom. I'm exhausted with dealing with this company. They need to come finish the job and do it right. I've made three payments on the loan for this and the job isn't complete.*************************Review from ARTHUR Y

I AM VERY DISSAPOINTED WITH COMPANY. I HAD A NEW AC UNIT PUT IN LAST OCT 22. FOR OVER 6000.00. THE UINT KEEP FREEZING UP AND THEY CAME OUT AND SAID TO WAS BECUSE OF THE OLD DUCT WORK. SO WE HAD THEM RELPLACE THE DUCT WORK FOR AROUND 1000.00. AND USE A GOOD AIR FILTER INSIDE. WE HAVE REPLACED THE INSIDE AIR FILTER WEEKLY. THE UNIT STILL WAS FREEZING UP. THEY THEN SAID IT WAS THE COILS ON THE UNIT WERE DIRTY. SO WE PAID ANOTHER 350.00 TO HAVE COILS CLEANED. THE UNIT IS STILL FREEZING UP. SO THEY CAME BACK OUT AND TOLD ME THAT THEY NEED TO NOW PULL THE CONDENSER UNIT TO CLEAN. THEY DID SHOW ME OLD PHOTOS OF WHEN THEY REPACED THE DUCT WORK AND SAID THAT THIS IS WHY IT IS DIRTY. I FIND THAT ODD AS WHY DIDNT THEY SAY THAT BEFORE THEY CHARGED ME 350.00. NOW THEY WANT 1100.10 BUT THEY DID OFFER A DISCOUNT TO 910.00. I ASKED WHY NOT REFUND ME THE TOTAL OF WHAT I PAID THEY SAID I WOULD HAVE TO CALL JASON, I DID TRY CALLING JASON AND TALKED TO SOMEONE THAT SAID THEY WOULD GIVE JASON THE MESSAGE AND THE ONLY PHONE CALLS I AM GETTING NOW IS TO SCHEDULE THE REPAIRS. I AM VERY FRUSTATED AT THIS POINT AND TOLD THE PERSON I AM GOING TO LOOK INTO ANOTHER COMPANY, THIS UNIT HAS FROZE UP OVER 10 TIMES. I FEEL THERE IS ANOTHER PROBLEM WITH THIS UNIT. TO KEEP CHARGING ME IS WRONG.Review from Brian H

I called to have my air conditioner service and was rescheduled four times and the manager called me and assured me somebody would be here Friday July 7 between 1:00 and 3:00 there was no call no show again I would highly recommend going to another company to have your unit serviced and to think I referred this company for four installsReview from Larry M.

There is a post before this one dated July 19, 2022 that sounds way too familiar. We had Velocity install a new AC and Heat Pump. Prior to installation the installer recommended we had to "build a bigger space to get the heat pump/air handler in the space so they could pass inspection and gain access to the coils in the future". The Velocity Service Manager recommended "Their Guy" who does a lot of their work. Well..."Their Guy" was inept at his job to say the least. He cut a hole in our hallway wall and destroyed the closet behind it with a wall that he built. When Velocity was called numerous times, I finally got a call back from the Service Manager. I was told they would send out a New Guy to fix the framing and wall. That never happened and that same service manager informed me that they weren't going to cover the cost to make it right a few weeks later. I told the same service manager that I would be posting on Social Media what a Garbage company they ARE and I would be finding someone else to service the unit in the future. I also told this so called manager that he can keep his warranty and that's a great way to do business. An hour later, that same Service Manager called me back and told me that he spoke to his boss, the owner, and they would send or bring me a check to cover the cost to repair the wall and closet. His caveat to that was that they wanted me to Sign a Form stating that I would not post anything negative about their company. That to me is Extortion. ( Look up that word Service Manager). Your gonna pay me Hush money and have me sign something? I don't think so. DO NOT DO business with this Company. They do not stand behind anything they say or do and then want to blame a subcontractor that they recommended. The Service Manager told me to "Go after Him" he is not an employee of Velocity. Stay Away from this company !!!! There is a reason their not accredited by the BBB !!!!Review from Cathy L

I decided to replace my older unit, with Velocity at a cost of $6,500. The air wasn't blowing at all, several techs came and said it was my insulation, yet I never had this problem with my old unit. I had insulation installed, and a tech set the Blower to high. Now the heater isn't heating. The tech suggested I need a bigger heater and wire at a cost of $1,100! I am a senior on a fixed low budget.. I had to call three times to get the service manager to call me. He basically said my mobile home is old and needs more insulation and the thicker wire. I would not recommend this company, as they never mentioned any of this when I was consulting with the salesperson. I even contacted news channel 8 on your side about this. We have been trying to work the customer to rectify the issues that she has been experiencing. We are limited by county/city codes and ordinances and do have to work within those parameters. The output temperature of the ** system installed was up to manufacturer's specs and code, there was too much energy loss due to lack of insulation to the home. There is only so much you can legally do within code to increase the cool air output on a system. The customer had insulation installed and called us out because the home was not heating to temperature. Due to the existing electrical in the home, we installed the maximum sized heat strip allowed. Unfortunately, it didn't heat the home properly. We offered her an estimate to upgrade the electrical and heater to better accommodate her needs.Review from fred n.

I am re posting my review . I was told if I take down my 1 star review I would receive a check in the mail for a full refund . I guess I fell for it . I was promised by the service manager that he would personally drop the check in the mail and e- mail me when it was done . that was over 10 days ago . I called the office and was told the check is in the mail , that was 8 days ago . Maybe the owner will call me next . Now I understand why I only see 5 star reviews So I guess refund or no refund people need to know and make there own choice .My review stated , By the way your company is a rip off . Cleaning the drain is $150 with others and you charged me $271. I decided to get a second opinion and had another company come out to check my coil and was told it was not necessary to pull it out and clean it at this time. He showed me a photo of mine and a dirty one , there was a big difference . you were coming out and charging me $850 and he was going to do it for $500 . He also told me my drain was not fully cleaned and had to do it again .
