Ripped off my mother and father by insisting they needed 2, yes two (2) industrial AC units for an upstairs / downstairs 1,500 sqft condo. Okay...I'll give your company the fact they want to take people over the coals for equipment you don't need (30k), what I don't get is that since that time (2 yrs), every service call costs $59.00 to fix things that should have never broke in the first place!...the latest (today) being the new the thermostat that stopped working. I will reiterate a review I saw in this thread. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Try Grande Aire.

The most frustrating and non communicative company I have dealt with. They installed a new AC unit in our home Jan 2024. It has been intermittently functioning since that time. Stopped working again in April. Turns out they did not install the blower motor at all. Come out and evaluate it again. We "didn't have enough refrigerant". Fine. They top it off. Stops working again June. I requested an appointment at 7 pm after work. Need 2 technicians per their policy. They sent one technician at 10:30 AM. Gave me a hard time about getting them back at the correct time. Turns out on the second eval we having a leak in the tubing which is a huge undertaking. They said they could fix it on x date. X date comes and we don't hear from them. Never had us on the schedule and cant get out to us for 4 more days. Not sure if anyone is aware but its pretty **** hot in Florida in June. Can never get in contact with a manager. Technicians are pleasant but continuously say "oh the guy before me didn't do this correctly or didn't document this correctly". Impossible to tell if you're getting correct information. Completely untrustworthy. Cant believe we spent 10k in January to go through this.Cool Today Response

Sold us a lemon central AC. Many major parts replaced, including coil, capacitor and compressor. $3000 out of pocket over 6 years, on a system they installed new. Quality assurance dept was useless. They did nothing for us. Do not do business with this company! Buyer beware!Cool Today Response

Their answer to the issue was to send a quote, for a "heavily discounted" replacement system. The quote was for three times what I paid for the defective system six years ago. Added insult to injury. They never wanted to make this right. They sent that outrageous quote to make me go away. CoolToday has been completely unethical every step of the way.Review from E.R

Please stay away from this company Cool Today. I wish I could give them zero.They gave us the fake price quote to beat the competition, then change the quote on us the next day to more than double. The excuse was that they assumed the partial warranty for the unit was in effect. That is what happened to us. Very disappointing. They kept us hanging in there for days in the heat and humidity in our home. The customer service and the manager in charge was unprofessional and disrespectful. I wish I could give them 0 stars, as they don't deserve the one it puts here. These people must be more professional and willing to help you once you have signed an agreement; it is up to them. The plumbing "manager," or so is the title he has.. he is nasty. He rolled his eyes at me because I wanted an answer, and he didn't want to work. He is full of excuses and no solutions. He saw my email but has not responded because he gave zero shoes about it. For their negligence, I have six residents with no water, and they will not help us get back on track. Believe me, their actions have not only cost them my business but also the business of anyone I encounter in the industry. I am determined to share my negative experience with others, which could result in a significant loss of reputation and revenue for them.Cool Today Response

Have had 3 issues since summer 23. 1. Had problem with AC unit July 23. Technician determined it to be bad outdoor coil. Coil under warranty but still charged $2500 (only material cost was some refrigerant). 2. During maintenance call in Feb 23, technician did not reattach outlet hose for condensate pump causing water to shoot out of pump in attic 3. During that same call the technician did not attach 3 screws holding air handler cover and the other 4 screws were loose causing massive air loss. I received text from President in July 23 asking for input. I replied with concerns about price and asked him to call. I received no response. For the most recent incidents, I called and asked for someone to call and no one called me back.Cool Today Response

My recent service was very good, there were some scheduling problems, but that wasnt the technicians fault. Its the way dispatch schedules his day and doesnt allow the technician to organize their own day. This will hurt Cool Today, not listening to what customers really want.Review from Sheri R

********************* came on time for routine maintenance, he was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I've been a customer for over 15 years and trust them with all my needs. ( they did my electical rewiring, replumbed the house and changed outlets also put in new outdoor outlets) Haven't had any complaints just satisfaction. The listen to what I have to say and no pressure. I highly recommend cook today.Review from Glen J

Cool Today guys did a great job! I could barely tell they were even here. I highly recommend this company as they have installed 2 different systems for me in 12 years and have performed flawlessly.
