April 2021 contact with ******************* about a problem with patio room installed June 2001. April 2021, to find the current distributor for Mass. about major issue, Ex: leaky celling, hard moving door, windows and locks. We found them in Gardner MA. they came out (they told us that the pitch of roof angle down toward the door was not pitched correctly). We decided to go ahead with the repairs, despite all the issues. They initially told us the repair cost, which we knew was going to be expensive, after we talked with ****. Got a verbal quote of $14,000 to $17,000 for the repair. Finally got quote in July from ****. Quote he gives us is over $25,000. Questioned increase in dollar. Told because no a deposit from us, this is the quote they stand by. We decided we needed to do the repair. Covid delayed the material, so the repair till October 2021. Spring 2022 that we to have them come back for still leaks. They came out and sealed it but still leaking. Winter of 2021/2022 not much snow, so we did not find the roof/celling issue. This past winter half of the snow slide off the roof land hard packed on our deck. This blocked us from going in or out. I've called **** in Dec of 2022 looking to see if there was anything that could be put on the roof to deflect the sliding snow, away from door end of roof on to the deck. This is a problem they were made aware of when we started. For the price of replacing the whole entire roof, we don't know why they did not change to a pitched roof. We also started to have leak issues inside the patio room this past February. One of the roof seams is now leaking, and we have had no luck getting that fixed also. I have called your office about this problem several times in the last month, but have not had anyone get back to me, nor has **** sent anyone to help seal the roof or gutters. This, we hope will bring some resolve to this issue before we decide to make a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau, both in Mass. and PA.
