They keep doubling amount owed every time I make a so called two months owed bill, next bill shows up, again with a double payment due. They referenced and additional months charge with some garbage about a WGES Guaranteed Blanket Bill!!! For God sake, if I could afford an attorney, I would do it today.WGL Energy Services, Inc. I'm sorry to hear you are frustrated, I assure you are not being double billed. The cadence of your payment is such that the next month's bill is being generated before your payment is posting to the account. You are on our Blanket Bill program so your monthly invoice is the same amount each month providing you peace of mind and protecting you from the sometimes volatile energy market. WGL is the best energy company that I have been with yet! (and no, it's not the first) I am extremely happy with how low their rates are & and I've highly recommended this energy company to all of my friends & family in the area now that I have been a part of the WGL family since last month. Prior to enrolling in the program, I had many questions & concerns that I directed towards the agent who called me, and she was extremely knowledgeable and able to answer all of my concerns & questions. She also assured me that I would receive everything we discussed and all of the details in writing & to my surprise I received everything in much less time than I expected. It only took one billing cycle for my new rate to take effect just like the agent said, I had to hop on here to say, that I am a very happy customer.Review from Jonathan F

They are liars. They said i would save 20-25% on my bill yearly and they charge TWICE as much per kilowat as my original provider. Don't sign up for them - they will hassle you for phone calls. They are a scam.WGL Energy Services, Inc. Response

Liar! Customer service told me total price is ~$0.106/kwh, INCLUDING distribution charge. The bill showed up, distribution charge is still there! The price is much higher than PECO. Big liar!WGL Energy Services, Inc. Response

Good afternoon I got your contact information from a response you made to the many reviews on BBB.org on the harassment spam calls we are receiving from WGL energy. I too have been getting multiple calls a day every single day from multiple numbers and I keep blocking them. I’m not sure if there is a Do Not Call list I can be placed on but I would like to be on there and not get on this call list. How do you get Clearview to stop calling! I like others on this site have locked upwards of 20 numbers, they just use different o es and call at least 5 times a day. I would NEVER use this company and would tell all that cave to their pressure to get out!Review from Jayson S

WGL Energy calls me multiple times a day from different numbers. I answer the call and tell them to stop calling me. I block the number and then get a call from a different number later in the day. Why can't you delete numbers on your end when we tell you to stop calling us?WGL Energy Services, Inc. Response

Like other reviews, I am NOT a customer but am receiving 5 to 7 calls daily for WGL and Clearview. I block every number and still receive calls. STOP calling me. I don't have an account with you and I NEVER will. And yes, my number is already on the do not call list. Can't the BBB do something? What a waste of time.Review from John F

I am getting multiple calls from multiple different numbers and locations every day from this company. It has been going on for weeks. I can’t report it to the do not call list because the number and location are constantly changed. Looking at the comments and complaints on here the company knows there is a problem and chooses to do nothing about it. I guess I’ll have to file a complaint with the State Attorney General.WGL Energy Services, Inc. Response
