They lost an item of mine and will not rectify it. We paid for an item to be clean. It was on our bill and they didn’t have it with our order. I’ve spoken to them at least 3x and the owner has accused us of never having the item in the order. Although the belt was there they lost our jumpsuit. My wife spoke with the owner, they refuse to give us a refund and still won’t admit they lost my wife’s jumpsuit. When she spoke to the owner, the owner hung up on my wife. This has been an ongoing issue for three weeks now.
My husband put clothes in this cleaners, the items included a jumpsuit of mine. When he picked the items up, he assumed they were all there given he could see the belt among the items returned. When he opened the bag at home upon arrival he saw the jumpsuit was missing. He called the cleaners immediately. They asked for 24hrs to check their warehouse. He never heard back. The following week he went in and the store owner tried denying she ever had the jumpsuit saying she never saw it, despite it being on the ticket of the claim that we paid for. Then she said she’d give us a store credit up to the value of half the approximate value of the item. Why would I want a store credit to a place that lost my clothes? I would like my outfit or to be compensated in cash for the value of the outfit.

Then, she tried to act like we lost it or had it at home and were decieving her, again despite the fact that he called them to notify it was missing within 5 mins of arriving home. I went into today and she said a combination of the same things and hung up on me (a worker called her). She said she’d give us a store credit up to the value of half the approximate value of the item, but refuses to refund me for the cost of the item or the amount we were charged to clean the item. Why would I want a store credit to a place that lost my clothes? I would like my outfit or to be compensated in cash for the value of the outfit and refunded to price I was charged to clean this item that wasn't returned.
