I purchased a wedding gown from this shop in February 2022. I paid the full price in cash which was $636. After purchasing the gown I began the alterations procedures with the seamstress the store owner uses. We made an appointment to come back to start alterations. At the first fitting appointment the seamstress and I came up with a plan of what needed to be done and she started measurements. We made another appointment to see if the first alterations she started were correct. At this appointment we arrived and only one of the things on the list was done and it was done incorrectly. We agreed to have the dress hemmed, layers removed from the bottom, the sleeves to be opened to allow more movement, a new corset tie to be ordered as the original one that came with the dress was misplaced by the owner, and a bitten extender to be added to the back to fit properly. At this point we are quickly approaching the date of the wedding which was July 7th 2022. We go in for our next appointment which is in April and the tie was not ordered, the button extender she put on the back was not the one we asked for, the sleeves were not done properly and no layers were removed. Becoming a bit flustered and worried about the deadline we asked what the problem was and we got instant attitude and lots of excuses. I have done business at this shop multiple times and never had an issue. Our next appointment was for mid May and we were assured everyone will be better then. The day before we get a text from the seamstress cancelling the appointment until the end of June right before the wedding. We told them that wont work and we would like to pick up the dress if they were not going to accommodate. They hung up and blocked all of our calls, the store owner gave the dress to the seamstress to take home without my permission. The store owner will not return my calls and the seamstress is requiring me to pay for services she did not provide for my gown.
