    The two men that arrived from Signature Movers were unprofessional from beginning to end. Moe, the company owner, complained the entire time and the two men broke the bottom of my couch. When they first arrived, they showed up with the wrong information. The men thought I was a different customer; they had the wrong name and were confused when my partner corrected them. When they went inside my condo, Moe said with an attitude, "we did not know there were stairs and this much furniture" (I provided all of this information to MovingHelp and confirmed the same information on the phone when he called me days prior). My appointment time was at 2pm and the building manager was scheduled to open the extra door at 1:45pm. The movers showed up at 1pm and when I told them the moving door couldn't be opened sooner (because I am not in charge of the building...) Moe continued to complain saying, "this is too much stuff, we have another job to do" and mentioned he was double booked. I told them not to move my couch until I could get the covers out of the UBox but they started to move my couch anyways. I stopped them in the hallway and told them again I needed to cover the couch to protect it. Moe said, "it is up to you" even though I had instructed them to not move my couch before I could cover it. Moe said, with an attitude, this should have been done beforehand (the UBox advertises that the container provides a dozen furniture covers so I assumed I could cover my furniture when they arrived with the UBox). It was at this point I felt I should have cancelled the job because Moe was acting as if he was doing me a favor.  Once I covered my couch in the hallway, the two movers said they needed more help moving my couch and that "they would have brought more men had they known the order." They also asked, "how was this couch moved in" and "did it fit in the stairwell" (the company that moved my couch in had no issue). Moe then said to my partner, "you're going to have to help us out." In the stairwell, Moe said, "this is a really tight space" but did not once say he did not want to continue moving my couch. When they got to the bottom, the men ended up damaging the bottom of my couch (the legs of my couch are completely broken). When my partner pointed this out, Moe said, "oh well, the couch should have been covered beforehand." The men did not offer any apology or explanation. My partner showed me my damaged couch afterward. I was also unaware that I should have had my bed disassembled beforehand because disassembly advertised. Moe said once again with his attitude, "this should have been done beforehand" and continued to complain about how much time the move was taking. When I called two days later to discuss what could be done about my broken couch (I explained calmly that my couch was damaged and asked if there was a claims process), Moe immediately raised his voice at me and said, "were you there when the couch was being move?" I told him my partner told me what happened. Moe again said with a raised voice, "did I not say I didn't want to move your couch, I didn't want to move your couch." Moe did not once say that, the closest thing he said was that the hallway was a tight space but did not articulate not wanting to move the couch. Moe asked me again "if I was there" and it was at this point that I too raised my voice and asked if there was someone else I could speak to. Moe said with the same attitude during the move "I'm the owner." I said, "I am not trying to yell at you or be upset, I would just like to know if there's a policy or claims process or what can be done." Moe yelled, "WHAT WE'RE GOING TO DO?" So I ended the phone call. A few minutes later, Moe called my partner (he only had his number because I provided it the day of the move) to ask why I was upset. Overall, the whole process was unprofessional, Moe made it highly stressful, I do not recommend, and wish I could get my money back.
