I always go back to Total Prepare because their customer service rocks, and they're always there to help when I need it. It's rare these days to find a company that actually cares about giving you a personal touch, but Total Prepare totally nails it. Whether it's the owner or others on the team, they make sure I get the help I need fast and with a smile. Total Prepare really knows their stuff when it comes to emergency readiness. They offer a wide variety of high-quality products, like survival kits, emergency food, first aid gear, and communication devices. They're just on another level compared to anyone else I've dealt with in North America. Overall, my time with Total Prepare has been awesome. If you want top-notch products and the best support for getting ready for emergencies, Total Prepare is the way to go, no doubt about it!

I have dealt with Ed from Total Prepare on several occasions for water, food and the best fire extinguishers ever made. I would have a tough time trusting any other company than Total Prepare. They know emergency preparedness, they don't just sell products. I've seen kits available at pharmacies and home shows but when you want advice and direction and quality products, talking to Total Prepare changes the game. I have purchased their water and food and have built my own emergency preparedness kit that I add to and replenish regularly. I found a fire extinguisher online and spoke to Ed about them, they made some calls, tested the product and then became a supplier after letting me know the product really works - I have bought many of them now and keep them throughout the house and in the car. I was thinking I should add another to my emergency kit too - I'm calling again :) Preparedness is about great advice and planning, in my mind. I trust the advice I get from the team at Total Prepare - kudos to the team there for helping me be prepared for whatever may happen - I'm ready.

0 Stars for Ray the owner and Ed from Total Prepare. Ed especially was very rude, he laughed at me when I said some of the Stroganoff was vacuum sealed and some were not, including the rest of the shipment that were not. He claimed none were vacuum sealed and didn't need to be. If I could attach a photo of proof, I would. Clearly, when bag is the same shape as contents and you cannot pull bag away, nor shake contents around, then it is vacuum sealed! The others I could shake ingredients around. Now these products are supposed to last 25 yrs. The date was 2022 on it, so I've already lost time. At first Ray said, the fact that the packages were not vacuum sealed was a definite concern. I have the email with him stating this. Later he said in voicemail, which I have, he regrets saying that. He told me to open all 6 boxes to check. I did, none besides two Stroganoff bags were vacuum sealed. I asked if they don't need to be vacuum sealed, then why are two of them vacuum sealed. They both denied any were even though I sent photo proof. The breakfast packages especially had a very strong sweet smell, even after cleaning the bags. So storing them in my apt would emit that smell throughout. They said they never claimed there would be no smell. They agreed to come pick them up for a refund less approximately $300.00 restocking fee, because I had opened the boxes !!! Ray gave me 3 pick up dates (which were all workdays), if I was not available on those dates, I would have to return the 6 - 20lb boxes at my expense. After paying them $2049.95, that's how I was treated. I never did receive the free gift promised with the order. Actually it was a few hundred more than the $2049.95 as I had ordered other products. And I had planned on ordering more.....NOT NOW !!!!!!

While there was a miscommunication in our original message, we had hoped to remedy it in our subsequent phone calls, emails, video demo, and with the information provided from the manufacturer's website. As mentioned, due to the nitrogen flush all Legacy Food pouches receive, most pouches do not have a vacuum-sealed appearance. This is common across every brand of freeze dried food we have come across and a nitrogen flush is considered best practice to keep the product oxygen-free and long lasting. Also as discussed, sometimes during packaging small amounts of the powdered spices do end up on the outside of the pouches, which can give products a sweet maple smell. Neither of these is considered a defect and these qualities are not covered by our return policy.
