Very, Very Unprofessional. When you ask to have repairs done 90% of the time they will ************ even though nobody has come to work on it. No one answer the phone at the office & when you do get a hold of someone they tell you what you what you want to hear not what will happen. When we moved out, ***** said deposit will be returned in 30 days. It took us 3 months, many calls, & many ************* sent many very unprofessional emails to us. We will NEVER rent from them again.

Employees will not answer the phone, and I can only assume that this is an intentional choice made by the business to make it more difficult for people to address problems with a human in real time. All communication will be via email for anything that isnt the company trying to get you to fix or change something about your residence or the content of your house. Employees will not make exceptions for tenants with medical/mental situations and are uncompassionate and uncaring when dealing with these situations. Lastly they use a specific set of vendors for maintenance and when those vendors are inundated with current repair needs they will not do anything to address exceptionally long repair times. The house was not professionally cleaned when we moved in. Carpets and garage smelled strongly of pet odor (urine) and when we tried to get a pet, but accidentally got the process out of order they made us rehire the pets to protect the owners property despite the owners having pets in the house directly before we rented the property.

We rented a brand new property that was just finished and the house wasn't clean, garage was covered in dirt and dust. They dropped off a brand new refrigerator and I called to have them install it and was told it would take a few days, so we unpacked and hooked up the water line and installed it and removed all the packaging. We are empty nesters and was renting a 2 story town home while our new home was under construction. We kept the house clean, changed filters monthly (actually changed the filter when we moved in - it was filthy and had to put new ones in about every two weeks for a month) When we gave them our notice to move out we had the house professionally cleaned along with the carpet. I touched up walls and door jams/doors and the house looked and smelled brand new and cleaner than when we moved in. We got our deposit settlement today and they are charging $800 for carpet cleaning and deep cleaning - this is a total scam and the house was clean when we left it. They also charged for other items that doesn't make sense - we had cheap PVC blinds with Velcro that the header piece would fall off all the time so we just left them off. I am pursing legal action and if you are considering renting from Key Renter SLC - think again. They never inspected the home, we did the walk through without them being there (guy said he was in a car accident) Very dishonest.
