Stay away! This company constantly lists products as in stock or available and you don't find out untill after that they don't have it after they don't ship it for weeks without updating you. You are then forced to call them as they don't reply to emails anymore and ask them about the status of the order. It took 2 months after them taking my money to tell me my product is on unknown time backorder because the supplier has not shipped them more. I then called 3 separate companies that also shelf these products who said they have all gotten the product in stock without issue. If you try to leave them a review or a complaint they just gaslight you rather then take accountability, terrible company with some of the worst customer care in the industry. Stay Away!Review from Marc E

Be careful when ordering from this company. Call them first and make sure all components of the kit or parts are in stock! They advertise products being in stock even though parts or components are on back order from *****. When you tell them to cancel the order they argue that you cant get the parts anywhere else. A quick internet search of other companies reveals they are lying. Not a way to run a business. Lying to people just to get another sale is likely why they have such a low bbb rating! Its surprising they resort to such tactics now. *** ordered from them in the past and had good service and received what I ordered. Do yourself a favor Rocky Road, treat your customers better and you wont loose a long time buyer like me!Review from Stephen H

I purchased a lift kit for my 2009 SX4 ******* It took about one day to install, and we did just a bit of welding as Rocky Road recommends for enhanced rigidity. The parts are very well made, and the instructions were spot on.We change tires from 205 60 16 to 215 70 16 all terrain. Looks amazing and rides smoother than before the lift kit. I receive the kit in about 10 days and cant say enough about this kit and Rocky Road Outfitters!!Review from Rudy M

Purchased a set of *** LX470 Kicker Sliders for a **** LEXUS LX 470. Upon receipt I discovered the following:- 4 of the 1/4 x 2 bolts were missing -Sliders were not identical in design to the *** Kicker Sliders pictured on the website.-Slider main bar does not sit under the rocker panel as Rock Sliders need to in order to protect the vehicle. They sit out about 2-3 inched too far.I notified the company, and they stated that that is how they were designed to protect the fenders as well. They also stated I can see this on their website (they provided the following link: ****************************************************************************) I agree that they should protect the fender as well but should also protect the rocker panel as was shown on their website for the LX470 product. Then I pointed out that the sliders on the link provided were not the sliders I ordered. I was then told that unfortunately the pictures on their website for the LX470 are from a different vehicle because no one has provided a picture with the product on an LX470. So not only does the product not fit the vehicle it was supposedly designed for but they misrepresented the products fitment by post a picture of it on a different vehicle (I believe a Land Cruise). This false advertisement is a major issue especially if all a customer has to base their decision on is the pictures posted on the website. The company refused to acknowledge this issue, to provide missing hardware and stopped communication. I will now need to spend an additional $450 to modify these so-called rock sliders to function as intended and to provide protection.Review from jason k

I got my sliders today and set out to install them. Holes were not even close to lining up. Instructions didn't help so i called for support. Talked with ***** who was zero help. I explained my frustration with what was represented on website and what was sitting before me. He seemed carless about the situation and spewed some typical salesman BS. Basically I feel tricked. Website is designed to make you think they are awesome but the are not. Quality of workmanship is sub par. One angle bracket is bent and was told it happened during shipping. Yikes. It was wrapped in for inches of foam. How are these going to hold up on the trail if they can't make it across the country wrapped in foam. I would suggest buying anything they offer from someone else. Unless you like to be tricked and BS spewed your way when you try to get help. I blame myself for not looking into them better.Rocky Road Outfitters Response

We ship ***** rock slider kits every week of every year. It is a shame when somehow the freight companies manage to damage a mounting bracket which extends off of the rock slider itself, but all of our shipments are insured against damage. We are happy to file a claim for abusive shipping handling by the freight companies when it occurs. We will do this at the request of the customer. Our kits do carry a lifetime guarantee against bending or denting once installed.Review from Matt F.

My picture of the white 200 series ************ marketing their sliders is on their website. I do not appreciate Or condone them using my vehicle to market their products. In my experience, they are dishonest, corrupt, incompetent and they will tell you anything to get your money but good luck getting the work done and, forget warranty work. ********************* in particular was incredibly dishonest. I have at least half a dozen texts from him that his boss *****, the owner, flat out told me were lies. He even asked for me to send him a copy of said texts. My only advice is dont trust them, there are better options. In short, I waited over a year for my rear bumper, that was not their fault at all and, I dont hold them responsible for it. But, when I took it up to have the bumper installed, they let it sit there with the dome light on for 10 weeks and never touched it (this was after the 10 weeks it took them to install the front bumper and lift kit the year prior). I went up to pick it up after calling only to discover the shop clerk had no idea what I was referring to, the car hadnt moved since I dropped it off. The day I called, no one in the shop could even verify that the vehicle was on the property. Meanwhile ********************* was giving me updates every two weeks on the progress which probed to be absolutely untrue. Moreover, when I got there my battery was completely dead and believe it or not, no one in the shop had jumper cables or a jump box. In the middle of Covid I had to go to three different shops before I found one that had jumper cables. As a sidenote, there was another 200 series LC at Cruise **** this year who ordered the same rocky road rock sliders I had & before even got them installed one of the welds broke. That should tell you about the quality of Rocky Roads workmanship. They are the worst of the worst and, they give all small shops a bad name
