Scam, reschedule until the grass is over 6 inches long then literally will charge you 5x what the normal rate is. Not a lie, happens more often than them showing up when originally scheduledReview from William T

Been attempting to schedule our lawn to get mowed through the people we rent through as an additional service. Website states 2-3 days after ordering, its been 7 and still do not have a date. Representatives of this company have their hands tied if their one contractor doesn't pickup the phone or answer. Might be wiser for them to have more than a couple per town they cover or simply not offer it if they can't guarantee it as advertised.Review from Ida D

Task easy was recommended by the company we rent through, and a small percentage discount was given if we use them. Thinking that they must be good if they are recommended by the people that own the property, we gave them a shot. Its been 8 weeks and our lawn has been mowed twice. We signed up for every 2 weeks, and each time the day of service rolls around nobody shows up and then I get an email stating that it will be rescheduled. This last time it was scheduled for 9/3, no show. Email that night stating they will be there the following Monday. Then an email stating they will be there Thursday, no show on Thursday and an email stating they will be there the following Thursday. Then Saturday, no show on Saturday. Email says they will be there Tuesday, so I called on Monday and stated that I was very dissatisfied with the service and I wanted a guarantee that somebody would actually be there on Tuesday. The guy claimed to call the contractor while I was on hold and was assured service would take place on Tuesday. I said okay and moved on. Tuesday rolls around, I get an email that says I've been rescheduled for THE FOLLOWING TUESDAY. I called task easy so fast, and was much less polite. The woman, who was SO difficult to hear and understand, called a contractor and said my yard would be serviced by the end of the day. Its now 715 at night and nobody has shown up. This is a joke, and now I am going to have to pay somebody extra money to handle my overgrown lawn because I relied on this laughing stock of a company. They cut my yard once, then postponed the second cut for a week after it was scheduled, once someone finally showed up they refused to cut it unless I paid an additional 250 dollars right then and there for a 50 dollar job. They claimed it was overgrown. Maybe had it been cut at the scheduled time it would have been their desired length.Review from Gordon W

Wish I had read the reviews before hiring them. Like others have said, I wish I could give them zero stars. Incomplete work, they missed the entire side of my yard. I was out of town and approved the work.........the contractor did not send a picture of the side they did not do and I missed it. Got home from work, noticed it and immediately took pictures to send to their customer service. It took them over a week and multiple calls to customer service to review and basically tell me "too bad , you should have not approved the work." Lesson learned, service cancelled. So, if you do decide to roll the dice and use them, do not approve anything unless you physically see it, and when they dont to the job to your satisfaction prepare for the absolute worst customer serive possible.Review from Brock D

IF THERE WAS A SUCH THING AS A ZERO STARS, THAT IS WHAT I WOULD PUT! THIS COMPANY IS NOT WORTH ANY STARS AS YOU CAN TELL FROM THE REVIEWS. I HAD A LAWN SERVICE DONE, AND IT WAS TERRIBLE. SO I DECLINED THE PAYMENT ASSUMING SOMEONE WOULD *********** THE GRASS PROPERLY. NO ONE CAME OR CALLED. SO I CALLED THEM TO SEE WHAT HAPPENED AND WERE THEY SENDING SOMEONE. WELL THEY DID NOT SO I JUST WAITED. SHORT VERSION IS I'VE HAD TO DECLINE THE SERVICE AT LEAST 4 TIMES BECAUSE THE GRASS WAS NOT SERVICED PROPERLY. THEY ALSO FRAUDULENTLY DEBITED MY ACCOUNT AFTER I CLEARING DECLINED AND SENT PHOTOS IN THE **** AT THIS POINT I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN AND DEFINITELY WON'T RECOMMEND ANYONE ELSE TO USE THIS SERVICETaskEasy, Inc. i have an email from the company stating they will refund my money within 5 business days. Its now been over 2 weeks and when I call or send an email there is no assistance. They have Non-American customer service agents that have NO CLUE WHAT THEY ARE DOING! Moreover, why do they have Non-Americans answering their phones to service people here in the USA. Nevertheless, at this point they are still trying to charge my account for services NOT RENDERED OR APPROVED. THEY STILL OWE ME AND I HAVE FILED WITH MY BANK FRAUDELENT ACTIVITY BECAUSE THEY WONT STOP TRYING TO CHARGE MY ACCOUNT AND THEY WONT REFUND MY MONEY!!!!!!Customer Response

Absolutely a fraud. July 9th I submitted an order. In it I selected the entirety of the front, middle, back yard of my home. Roughly 5K feet to mow/blow. It was overgrown, I expected to pay an additional price and an additional price was given to me when the contractors arrived. I ok'd and they said they would begin. Most of the people who showed up to my house left, leaving 1 man and a single lawn mower. They mowed the front, and roughly 15% of the middle yard, touched none of the back. The man they left here spent the next hour smoking cigarettes' in my front yard and playing on his phone. I assumed that the overgrowth was too much and they needed more tools, no big deal. However, TaskEasy reached out to me to tell me the contractor had somehow finished the mow? I contested the completion considering over 1/2 the lawn wasn't mowed and nothing was blown. Debris was strewn all over the property, gates left open. I took photos and responded to TaskEasy with my dissatisfaction. They said they would contact the contractor to follow up to my satisfaction. At this point I was still thinking things were ok, perhaps a bad contractor. However, no one ever returned to my property, and without fail I receive "We're following up with your contractor" emails every other day. I email TaskEasy regarding this issue to see what is going on. I ask what they are going to do to make things right, they offer me 20% off on a service that never happens. My service after emailing them with proof of their poor work was continuously mysteriously canceled and rescheduled every week until the beginning of August '22 when I canceled my service with them. Very unreliable and terrible customer service. If I could give it no stars I would.TaskEasy, Inc. Response

On July 13, 2022, I discovered something had crashed into the side of my home. I also saw my dryer vent broken and deep grooves in several areas of the lawn. Upon checking my security camera, I discovered that on July 8, 2022, Swinsons Landscaping and Design trespassed onto my property and caused the damage. TaskEasy dispatched ******* but, they went to the wrong home. I have never been a TaskEasy client. TaskEasy apologized in an email but, requested I complete a damage form, and submit photos, videos and two estimates within seven (7) days or they would consider my claim closed. TaskEasy fails to recognize I am the injured party. Their agent trespassed onto my property and vandalized it. I am not their client and never will be. I completely understand their one (1) star rating. It was probably submitted by a relative.TaskEasy, Inc. Response

I am sorry that you have had a difficult experience. Unfortunately, because we aren't on your property we do need pictures to see what damage has been done. If you are able to get those submitted we can work with you on a resolution. We ask for seven days so, that we can get issues like this resolved as quickly as possible.
