    Pattern of Complaint:

    On February 16, 2021, BBB recognized a pattern of complaints from consumers regarding delivery, customer service, and refund issues.  Consumers allege that the business charges for orders immediately but there are long delays with both back orders and shipping. Consumers further allege that they make multiple calls and/or emails to the business with no answer or response.  Complainants state that because the business is unable to be reached, they are unable to obtain a refund for undelivered orders in a timely manner.  In The Hole! Inc. is ultimately responding to complaints, but it does appear the consumers have to jump through hoops to reach the business.

    As of February 27, 2021, In The Hole! is working with BBB to eliminate the underlying pattern of complaints.  The business did not sign the agreement to eliminate the pattern of complaints and but has provided the following response:

    "As you can see in the “Availability” field, near the “Add to Cart” button, we have the anticipated availability for these products.  We have also started following up with an email informing the customer for the lead time. The supply issues of the past year have been unprecedented, and although they are starting to improve, they are likely to persist for quite some time.  So we are implementing systems to continue to follow up with customers and inform them of expected lead times for these affected products and provide updates as they become available.  We are committed to taking care of our customers and providing the best service possible.  To ensure customer inquiries are addressed as quickly as possible, we are in the process of hiring more customer service staff as the golf season is almost upon us.  We are always available during business hours of 9am-5pm MST, Mon-Fri.  Although we have had challenges managing call volumes over the past year and hold times to speak with customer service agents, additional staff will alleviate these wait times.  We are also available via email.  We have been in business for over 20 years and have never seen a spike in demand as we have over the past year.  We are putting systems and staff in place to handle another surge in demand for this golf season."

      Ordered a pair of golf boots the first on November 2023 and this is now the first of February and have not received them yet. Credit card was charged the $ ****** for them. I have emailed and called the company with no responses. On their website they would ship in 2 days. Would like by boots are money back.

      I placed an order for a battery for my electric golf "push" cart - 5-31-2023.6-6-2023 I received an email regarding a delay of 2-3 weeks.7-19-2023 I emailed after calling and leaving a voice message asking about the status.I've emailed and called again in July, but not received any response.

      I placed an order with In The Hole Golf on June 16, 2023 for replacement wheels for my golf push cart (Order #*******, $82.25). Their website showed the item in stock. On June 24 I received an email stating the item is back-ordered 1-2 weeks. I emailed their customer service on July 5 and July 6 inquiring the status of my of my order, and received no response. I tried to join the live chat feature on their website multiple times and each time I got the message that all of their agents were busy helping other customers. I called today (July 10), all customer service agents were busy, so I left a message inquiring about my order. I also went to the website today, and the same wheels are shown as still in-stock. I would like a refund.

      Order #******* Ordered on 6.4.23 for $74.90.Ordered a 'black' golf swing shirt. Received a 'blue' shirt. Called 'In The Hole' customer service and their representative told me that they knowingly shipped me a 'blue' shirt. 'In The Hole' was noticeably upset that I said I didn't want to keep the 'blue' shirt even though I had ordered a 'black' shirt.In The Hole then expected me to pay for the return shipping even though on the screenshot of their In The Hole website it clearly shows them misleadingly advertising a 'black' shirt. This is a 'bait and switch' and so far they have refused to make this situation right by crediting back my account.

      This customer called yesterday to return a product they had ordered.  They ordered a Golf Swing Shirt, and were disappointed that the color they received was Navy rather than Black.  We explained the manufacturer had made a rolling change to the product and we recently sold out of the Black shirt and only had the new and improved Navy shirt available.  There was no intent to bait and switch.  We have not yet heard from any customers that they had any preference for either color.  This is not  a standard golf shirt, it is a training device and no one really has shown any concern with the new color, or a preference for the old.  The customer did not ask for a return label, they just said they were going to send it back. 

      We send a prepaid *** label to the customer this morning, and will be happy to refund the customer the product cost and the shipping charges, once it has been returned.

      Ordered golf product, however product does not work. Sensor for putter sent appears to be used and returned by previous owner and does not work, turn on, nor operated. I have sent multiple emails, chat messages and called only able to leave voice messages with no return for the past 60 days looking for exchange or return.Order *******

      I placed an order on 11/26/22 for 4 items. All items stated they would ship in 1-2 business days. On Dec 1, I received an email stating my items shipped, and the way the email reads, it says "Some or all of the items listed below have shipped:" but the itemized part of the email lists all 4 items as shipped and gives me a tracking number. I received a package on Dec 3 that only included one item. I waited until Dec 5th to respond via email stating I only received one item and asking when the others would ship, no response received. I then called ************ at 1:14pm est and left a message, but no response received. I then emailed customer service a second time on Dec 10 inquiring about my missing items, no response received. I just checked my credit card and they charged the total order on my card on Nov 26, no refunds/credits have been issued to my card. I tried using the chat feature on the website and to no surprise, nobody was available to talk to me!I obviously want my items I paid for, but I'd really like to know if I'm getting them before Christmas. It's BS that they took my money and I can't get ahold of them to find out if the stuff is coming or request a refund or do anything. So not transparent on their end!!

      I purchased a DYNAMIC SWING GLOVE for $44.90 on 10/17/2022 from IN THE HOLE GOLF INC. which reports to be located in *******, *******. (Tracking number *******). The mailing address is stated to be IN THE HOLE GOLF,P.O.BOX *****, ******* ***. The retail store is stated to be located at ******************************************************************************* On the day the charge was posted to my bank account they informed me that the item was on backorder and would be delayed 2 to 3 weeks. After not hearing from them for 4 weeks(on or about 11/14) I called and spoke to a rep.who informed me that the glove was still on backorder and that I should expect further delay.I accepted their excuse until 12/1 when I emailed them asking them to deliver the item or refund the amount of the purchase price. I have not received a response thus my need for your help in facilitating a resolution to this matter. If I had investigated this business I would have seen that it has a history of poor reviews and a trail of dissatisfied customers.

      I purchased golf equipment from The GOLF Training Aid Store through their website and have never received the equipment. Based on phone numbers it is a front for this business. I have attempted to contact them twice and never received any response.
