There was unauthorized work done on my vehicle after it was towed via AAA from my driveway. The man checked the battery and said it was dead so he had to take it to the shop. I had to pay $160+ in order to have my vehicle out of the lot. It took 3 days to hear back from someone after numerous phone calls. After speaking with 3 different people, I was told that if they replaced the battery it would be $490. This business is not doing things right. I can't even give it a star.Review from carol C

Bob's replaced a turbo in April on a truck that I purchased 2 months later in June. The turbo went out within a week of owning the truck. They claim to stand behind their work with a 3 year, 36000 mile warranty. However they would not honor it because I was the second owner. The turbo they installed lasted 2 months, but they would not honor their warranty on a technicality. I requested service records and they have not gotten back to me yet either. I wouldn't send my vehicle there if they are not willing to stand behind their work.

Thank you for your feedback, Jeff. The second service advisor that you spoke with was misinformed of the situation as he was not a part of the original repair of this vehicle. We would honor the turbo under warranty; however, the part warranty itself is not up to us. It is under the manufacturer of the part that holds the discretion if it will be covered or not. This will now be the third turbo that has to be put into the truck. Considering the turbo has failed twice now in the same vehicle in the matter of 2 weeks leads us to believe that the issue is more likely a bigger one than just the turbo. While this may be a fluke, the issue is likely to be something else within the truck which is causing the turbo to fail. The first service advisor you spoke with, George, did inform you of this and the original owner was told this also. We recommend that you do have the truck checked out, whether here or a different shop, to check out the truck fully and see all that is going wrong. If it is in fact the turbo failing on its own, then it will be covered. However, if there is a bigger issue that is making the turbo fail, the company will most likely not cover it. Please give our service advisor, George, a call at 262-338-3670 to discuss the matter further and see what steps you should do next in order to get your problem resolved.
