The people that were sent to my home were NOT QUALIFIED to complete the job that was contracted. I offered to have CertaPro try to resolve this problem and they could not. The work had to be completed by others and, therefore, I will not accept this UNSATISFACTORY work. The workers were also not able to understand when I was telling them that they were not doing the work correctly because none of them spoke English.Business response

CertaPro Painters team members have made numerous attempts to reach ***** to resolve any issues that persist. ***** stated she did not want us back into her home and has been unresponsive since. We have sent her account to collections and filed a lien on her property. I just left her another message today requesting that she call me back so we can resolve the complaint.Initial Complaint

CertaPro was hired to: Power wash, scrap and stain house; replace defective boards; repair framing around one window. May *****, 2022 $11,676 CertaPro's Production Associate, came to our residence to discuss our issues (as stated below) and inspect the finished project on May 31, 2022. She told us that she would get back to us. I have sent 3 emails to her since then to resolve these issues but I haven't heard back from her. (June 9; June 15; and June 21)._____________When the staining project was complete, on the evening of May 24, at 8PM, we were expected to pay the balance due. I thought we could at least wait until DAYLIGHT to do a thorough inspection before making our final payment. The quote clearly states that we had the replacement cedar boards and yet new boards were bought, at our expense (with a 100% **** up, according to the Production Associate ). My husband brought out our cedar boards and showed them to the painters. Caulking was not done in areas that needed it, even though promised in the quote. The paint is already peeling/cracking from some areas, or it wasn't scraped and was just stained over. In some areas one coat was barely applied. We have always had one-coat applications done to our house with no problems -- even with the SAME stain brand. THREE people looked at our cedar siding, however it wasn't until AFTER the job was said to be completed that the Production Associate told us that our cedar siding was "failing" and that's why the stain was still peeling. So why were only SOME cedar boards replaced when they were now saying ALL the siding was bad?Business response
