We just bought a washer and had it delivered and set up, supposedly. In the end the set up was not completed as the install crew did not have the proper clamps to connect the drain tube. After calling the delivery manager I was told they did not do that as part of the installation or attach the water hoses as the length was beyond the factory hose length even though we purchased longer hoses to accommodate that. There is nowhere that explains the set up rules as they laid out after the fact. So after arguing and reaching an impasse we installed it ourselves. During the install process we decided to move the washer to accommodate the factory hoses. However, the install people took the hoses. We called to have them return the hoses to us. They refused and are making us drive out to pick them up taking no responsibility for their error. They are the factory hoses that come with the washer and should have been left on location. Now at our expense we have to pick them up. Customer service at its finest, NOT. We have purchased allot of items over the years from Colders but in the future will find another source.Review from Laura S

Received my furniture about a year ago. Every piece has some sort of damage with the paint. They did send a man to repair everything, he did a great job. The footboard that was delivered was so badly made he was unable to repair it. 13 months later and I’m still waiting for a new footboard. And after a year of use the dresser has bubbling paint and chips on the top part. Customer service says there is nothing they can do since it has been over a year. I would think after spending a few grand on brand new furniture it should last over a year. Very disappointed in the quality of the products and the customer service this company provides. Would NOT recommend buying furniture from Colders.Review from Carol M

Buyer beware - **************** (new leaf) does not honor their warranties. Bought a refrigerator and it hasn't worked in 4 months. Under warranty, lost paperwork, sending out 2 technicians in 1 day and then charging us for the service call; says it is an ** problem - and ** says it is an extended warranty problem. No call back from a manager; will say they are reviewing our case for replacement and then when we call back weeks later to find out what is going on, they have no record of saying that. They have no record of the numerous service calls we have received. When we call the service people to ask them to submit their paperwork, they say they have. If you purchase an appliance from them, I would not get the warranty. Save yourself alot of stress, money and frustration and go with another company all together. Do your research. Don't be like me who has to use a mini fridge on their table because I have a moldy non-working fridge under warranty in my kitchen. I bought a fireplace/tv stand in December 2021. They delivered it without the remote control. The model I purchased is not built with nice buttons and those buttons do not use the fireplace's full functionality. At the time, they told me it was a supply chain issue. I waited and was patient. When the control finally arrived, they handed me a remote in a plastic bag. I went home and tired it; it did don't work. I called them and so a technician came out. Now he was amazing and confirmed I was sent the wrong version. I have called twice and am told they are waiting. As you can see, I've been dealing with this for shy of two years. I will never go back to Colders again. The table and chairs I bought were not sturdy at all. The chairs collapsed and the table was so wobbly I thought it would collapse too. Went back to Colders this past Saturday. Outrageous prices. They dont sell table and chairs as a set! $6500 for table and $450 PER CHAIR! Outrageous!! All the tables there were wobbly. SO we went to Bobs Discount Furniture. Bought a STURDIER table and chair. It was $1200 for the table, 4 chairs, and a bench. The quality is superb and way better than Colders. I am sorry you experienced a concern with your table and chairs. I hope you contacted our Customer ******************** to verify if there was still a manufacture warranty. We do have several collections that are priced as a set. However, the table you mentioned is a solid wood table, customer selection on sale for $2600.00 Chairs are priced individually as this is a custom line with numerous color/finish and leg options. We do have a large selection of table and chairs that are group priced at very competitive price points. I am sorry we did not have the opportunity to work with you closer.Review from Carey V.

Manager Jon **** truly cares about the customers. I purchased a recliner from Colders last July. After 7 months of sitting in this recliner it started to break down and it had a 6 inch gap between back of chair and seat cushion. I am not a heavy person and found myself sliding into the 6 inch gap. I called Colder and they sent a repair man, which didn’t help me. They were giving me the run around and I was feeling hopeless until I went to the store to talk with the manager. I did not have an appointment, but Jon **** was gracious and listened to everything I had to say. He agreed to have me exchange this Flexsteel recliner for another. I called Colder's for service (broken door hinge) on our Whirlpool fridge and was told that they didn't cover frame parts. Seriously?? They told us we were 100% protected when the extended warranty was purchased. Stay far away from Colder's and their so-called extended warranties! After sale service is about non existence. Have a 1000 dollar Whirlpool fridge that has had problems since being delivered. Unit is only six weeks old. Oak Creek location has a manager by the name of "Shelby" whom is rude and obnoxious! You receive a constant run around and no satisfaction from them. Lots of lip service. Horrible customer service.They boast that they are a family company but their customer service skills are sub par at best. I’ve been fighting with colders for months over a very poor quality mattress that they sold me. It’s far less than a year old and has major deformities yet the “warranty” claim was denied. It’s the 3rd mattress they delivered because the first two had holes in them. I have herniated discs in my back and explained to the sales man that I needed a quality mattress, and he sold me this restonic which is honestly junk for the 1300 paid for it I would think it would last more than a year. It’s very painful to sleep on this bed. Colders has many bad reviews for this brand of mattress, yet they continue to sell it knowing it’s junk. More than one member of their staff has been rude to me because I’m frustrated about the situation, both of which were managers, Marlene and Sarah. Also very untrustworthy, they lie about things to cover their mistakes. I specifically asked Sarah if she neded pics of the box springs she said no, but then a day later needs them and proceeds to argue with me and speak over me on the phone, then hangs up on me when I’m frustrated on the verge of tears because I used a swear to describe my frustration. The hoops they want you to jump through to make things right are ridiculous, just sell a better product colders! Even emailed the president a few times, with no resolve at all. Don’t was your time or money at this subpar overpriced furniture store. Their solution is to replace the sub par mattress with another sub par mattress, how is that a solution? The same thing will happen with the next same less than quality mattress. So I’m expected to file a mattress claim every year and have a new mattress delivered yearly? Come on colders, that’s not a solution, and all the work fighting to even get that is exhausting and ridiculous.

I ordered a sofa on 6/5/21 with Patricia O. Approximate lead time was 5 months, which was understandable. It has now been just short of 10 months! Over the past 3 months I have called 2-3 times to check status. I spoke to Patricia. Each time all she ever said was, "I don’t have any information". Since it was getting to be quite a long time, I thought I would see if it was possible to cancel if I paid a cancellation charge, so I could try to find something in stock. I called on 3/16/22 at 12:16. I spoke to the girl who answered the phone. I asked her, "IF it is POSSIBLE to cancel?" She said sales people were in a meeting and she would give my salesperson the message and have her get back to me. On 3/24/22 I still had not heard back from Patricia, so I called at 4:12pm. I spoke to a girl named Kayla (who was much more helpful then Patricia!) She told me the order had been canceled!! I asked her when and who canceled it. She put me on hold while she checked. When she came back on the phone, she said it was canceled several days ago, by a phone call. They would be issuing a credit of $731.11 back to my charge card. This was after a restock charge of $313. They even charged a restock on the taxes, which is against the law! "Does restocking fee include tax? The charge for restocking returned merchandise is a charge for service and is not subject to tax. The retailer must refund the full sales tax reimbursement, not merely the tax on the net amount of the credit after the restocking charge." When I called to ask about canceling, I DID NOT say to cancel and I did not approve the fee! I INQUIRED if it was possible!! No one even bothered to inform me that they canceled it! If I hadn’t called back after a week of no response, I would still be sitting here waiting for my sofa! As it is, I am now without a sofa and out $313!!
