On 8/14/2023 I received Estimate No. ****, $5,950.00 from Olson, ******************************** I replied 8/15/2023 confirming wed like to move forward with the project. Later the same day I received a response confirming our spot and that a contract would be emailed to me to sign. I emailed Olson on 8/23/2023 and 9/7/2023 because I still hadnt received a contract. 10/10/2023-10/11/2023 the work was completed. We received no communication or contract during this time. On 10/18/2023 I received email Invoice No. *****, $5,950.00, stating it was payable upon receipt. It wasnt clear that the work was done so I emailed Olson and did not attempt to pay. On 10/31/2023 Olson replied, answering my question confirming the work was done and stating they would send someone out to pick up the items that were left and clean the door (had cement splatter on it). As of this note, no one has stopped to pick up the items or clean the door. On 11/3/2023 I called Olson at 1:48pm to provide payment over the phone via a credit card. I was informed, for the first time, that they do not accept credit cards. I hung up and emailed Olson, advising of what I was just told and that a credit card was the only form of immediate payment I have because I got it specifically for this work. I let them know that if they do not accept my card, there will be a delay as I figure out how to pay by check. On 11/3/2023 I received an email reply from Olson confirming they do not accept cards and that they will wait for a check. I scheduled a check (online) in the amount of $2,500.00 to be mailed to Olson, to be delivered by 11/28/2023. On 11/30/2023 I received an email invoice again, this time stating they will have to start adding interest of 18% per year, adding $89.25 to the invoice. I replied to Olson reminding them I had not signed a contract so I did not agree to any payment terms, including interest. I only wish to not be charged interest since I was never given a contract or payment terms to sign.
