Damages to my property including Piling dirt above the siding permanently staining it. Also leaving tar on siding Damaging two downspouts Cracking two 2 x 4s and tryin to fix one by nailing it Cement work is not level. Not even close They left an area by the furnace without cement. They damaged trim work. One piece of trim is missing Although I was told to remove caulk from cracks in the wall and they would do the tuckpointing correctly, the did about half and then put caulk right back in the rest. They left hundreds of stones in my yard. They damaged the existing basement door. They got cement all over the walls The broke my patio blocks On 2 occasions, I woke in the middle of the night very cold only to discover they had turned off the furnace and I couldnt fall back to sleep. They also turned the hot water heater off. I had to wait for hours to get enough hot water to shower.

We had 2 water leaks from one wall in our basement on the driveway side of our house. The rest of our basement was dry. We called Everdry Waterproofing to do an assessment and give an estimate for the work needed to be done to fix our problem. An Everdry employee came to our home on 05/03/22 and did an assessment. After the assessment we discussed the options to fix our problem. I specifically asked if the crack in-between the house and the driveway could be sealed because that was were the water was coming from. I was told by the Everdry employee that sealing the crack would not solve the problem and that the driveway side of our house would have to be dug up from the outside and Everdry would have to do their water proofing process that required digging, new rocks, sealing the wall from the outside and so on along with the interior water proofing process. Everdry offers 3 options for water proofing a basement. Option 1 is interior work, option 2 was interior and exterior work done manually & option 3 was for the interior and exterior work done with machinery. Based on the information given we choose option 2 because the the area we were concerned about HAD to be dug up from the outside to fix the problem along with the interior waterproofing. We were charged $21,470.00 for the work that we thought had to be done. Everdry employees arrived 06/24/22 to do the work we were told that driveway side of our house just had to be sealed from the outside because the water damage in our basement was low. The work that was done was the interior water proofing process and two walls (that were dry) of our home totaling 50 ft was waterproofed from the outside. (14 hrs) The contract said it was up to the ********* digression to change work. If work changes the price should also change. I spoke to the employees on the job and got nowhere, it always circled back to its under warrantee. A warrantee that is only good if you pay $75 per yr. I feel over charged and cheated.

We have attempted to contact the homeowner today (7/1/20220) with no response yet, once we get ahold of the Homeowners and arrange a meeting with them to discuss a solution we will respond with a conclusion that the homeowners are happy with.

On July 6th, 2020 we received an assessment/note from Everydry stating that the house was in compliance with the engineer report as well as ***** standards. The home will also be under the warranty for the the life of the home. This was asked for to make sure that we had everything set up for the purchase of the home for August, 2020 and that there were no problems or issues with the work/warranty that was in the basement. Nothing was brought up that the warranty was in default and the work was good (as seen in the wording and will show in images). We purchased the house August, 7th 2020 and moved in. The first week we called Everdry to officially put the warranty in our name and was told that the warranty had not been paid on for many years and in order to become current would need to be assessed to see if work was needed. The same individual who sent us the letter of guaranteed work came and assessed the basement and then quoted us: a little over five grand of work and then of course to pay the yearly $25 renewal fee. Also, at the same time someone from Everdry came to my house and put a flyer at my door, to let me know I may need their service. They had no idea I was already a client! A current theme of not knowing because then in 2021 they sent us a card reminder to pay our yearly fees! So, I sent in a check to pay the $25.00 because I thought maybe we were able to settle as the new homeowner and the first letter we received and all the organized files. However, about a month and a half after I sent my payment in they sent me a letter back stating we were not the homeowners on file and that we were missing payments from 2015-2021 (even though I called them in 2020 to tell them our names and tried to pay both times!) and also sent our voided check back (with the previous homeowners name on our check I had sent in) and they refuse to keep up their paperwork or information after sending it to us!

Everdry Waterproofing Performed work at ******************* in *********, ** in ****. Our contract provides a lifetime warranty when the service agreement is maintained. This requires an annual fee of $25.00 be paid. The previous owner of the property allowed the warranty to lapse. The paperwork that *************** provided indicates an offer to update the warranty after it lapsed. We did not receive any money or perform any additional work at the home. The home currently is out of warranty. The offer to bring it up to date was with the previous owner. The letters indicate that the home WILL be covered again provided that the fee of $5925.00 be paid. This was not done. When the home was purchased this should have been discussed with the seller. Everdry would like to help, but cannot just wipe away the current delinquent payments.

Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

Everdry gave paperwork stating that their work was under warranty for the life of the home, which we submitted, nothing on there stating that money was owed to have this warranty. Also, when looking at the date of the letter it was in July 6,2020 and we purchased the house in August of 2020. If there was owed money for the warranty it should have been documented in this note from the realtor that we received, but there was nothing on bringing the warranty up to date. Just that it was under warranty. Once we found out about a yearly fee that was behind. We attempted to make payments, but EverDry does not want to just stand by their original work, but instead want to use the lapse in paying to maintain a warranty that we found out most other foundation companies dont make you pay to cover their work. To sell us an unnecessary extra sump pump, we have two pumps already and battery backups. An easy breathe system. Which I have no clue has to do with a warranty on the work they already performed.

I allowed my Service Manager to respond the first time.  That said, I will take over now. ************** is attempting to dictate how our warranty SHOULD work rather than accepting how the PURCHASER of our waterproofing, the previous homeowner, the person who signed the contract for the work, allowed a renewable warranty to lapse.  This is not ****************** fault, but neither is it ours.  We have a service agreement that can be renewed yearly FOREVER and allows us to back up our work until the home is torn down.  That said, the previous home owner CHOSE not to pay and we graciously allowed the warranty to be caught back up IF the necessary equipment was purchased to have it up to date with all work we install now.  This option was NOT chosen.  Instead we got one installment of a warranty renewal payment that had lapsed from *************, thus we sent the payment back.  Being upset with Everdry is misguided and unwarranted.  Be upset with the previous owner who chose not to keep the warranty going for a nominal charge.  Now that ************* has taken ownership of the home, she cannot change how the contract was formed when it was signed with the previous home owner.  A perfect example is purchasing a car that, at one time, had a warranty that could have been renewed but the previous car owner decided not to extend the warranty.  Being upset with the car dealership because they do not want to fix a car without the extended warranty makes no sense.  Yours, *************************, General Manager, Everdry Waterproofing

we called everydry on sat august 14,2021 and left a message about water in the basement. we also left a message with the general mgr. ****(from everdry ) called us back on monday august 16 and said he would send someone out to check it out. when asked about what they were gonna do about the water damage to our carpet and all the furniture down there. we were told they dont handle that. we had to throw out the rug due to the mold on it. all of my furniture now has water stains on it. the basement now smells. i had other things that had to go because they were sitting in water. it has been 2 weeks and the general mrg has never called back. so talk about being frustrated is a under statement in this case. we spent alot of money on this job and was repeatedly told there would be no water again. sump pump would never fail. they should be working on a solution since they warranty this stuff and the equipment failed

I have met with Mr. and *********************** at their home. I inspected the sump pump. And at ************************** request, lowered the switch that turns the pump on and off.

Furthermore, based on my experience have recommended, providing an additional discharge to the sump pump, to operate more efficiently in heavy rains. The homeowner has agreed to allow Everdry to perform this service. It will be done at no cost to them.

There is still an unresolved concern with loss of items ion the basement after the rain inundated the waterproofing system.

I will send a further response when I have it.

Everdry Waterproofing has attempted to make content the ********* family.  Each of their issues has been resolved with only one exception: the belongings that got wet when they were gone for the extended period of time.  Everdry is not unique in that we warranty our work, but not the home owners' material items in their basement.  ********** could afford to stay in business with that obligation.  The truth is that I was in the ********* home and explained that "we will be back", because even the best waterproofing systems will eventually fail.  We warranty the work and have agreed to live up to the contracted warranty.  We will not be paying them for any items that *** have been damaged. A window company warranties their window.  When the window breaks and somehow the elements enter into the home, they do not pay for the items that are damaged.  The contract does not allow for that and we have lived up to the letter of the contract.  We want the ********* family to be happy customers, but it will not happen because we paid money for something that we are not contractually obligated to replace.  Thank you.  Yours, *************************, GM, Everdry Waterproofing

While installing two sump pumps in my basement as part of the project, The plumber spilled Oatey Purple Primer in numerous areas of my epoxy floor and did not wipe the spills up. He also left empty containers in a bag on the floor and did not throw the empty cans away. After project was completed, I found the bag had spilled the purple liquid all over the floor. He also left spots across the floor when he hauled other empty containers out of the basement. Adam Britten from Everdry inspected the floor and tried to remove stains but was unsuccessful. He sent another employee a week later with another attempt to remove the stains but was also unsuccessful. Adam told me Everdry would pay to have stains removed. I obtained a quote from my epoxy floor installer and sent to Everdry. They will not cover the charge to remove the stains and are offering only a fraction of the cost as a solution.
