      Bought a home that had their softener/filtration system installed. Called them before purchasing asking them how much they are charging for the system and the details and how the process worked to remove the equipment. They told me it was a rented system for about $100/mo. We installed a much more elaborate iron curtain system in our previous home 2 years prior for around $3k so I considered this highway robbery and politely asked them to remove the equipment. They did so about 3 weeks later. I specifically asked if all water would be reconnected from where they disconnected it. They told me it would be like how it should be had they never had the equipment installed and that all water would be functional again when they were done. I asked the question again upon scheduling the removal and they answered the same way. We move into the home about a month later and realized that the equipment was connected to the sink in the kitchen and the fridge in the kitchen as well. Neither of which worked. No other work whatsoever was done in the basement or kitchen since they were there and they would be the only culprits. I have photos of were the equipment was and they clearly just snipped the lines, pulled their equipment, and shut off the water to that source. Hack job if I ever saw one and definitely not what I was told would happen. When I called them to ask them to come back and fix it they had multiple people talk to me and tell me that I'm lying and questioned why it took so long for me to call and complain. I told them it's because we just moved in and told them we weren't going to be present to let them in to remove the equipment and that we wouldn't be there for awhile. They basically called me a liar. Spoke to management they also told me I was lying and that it's not their problem. Also told me MKE has some of the worst water in America to try to sell me on keeping it. That also was a complete lie. MKE has been rated as some of the best in USA. Disgraceful business

      I don't write reviews often but this was terrible service. I had a tech who checked our RO system we let him know we put in our own replacement filters. He said if we signed up for their water program filters would be covered and repairs for an annual charge of 200+. We signed up asked about our filters today and he tested the water said everything was fine there is no need to change the filters. A year later come service time he said we had extremely hard water, some one had put the wrong filters in which were not working. He didn't remember that he said the replacement filters we used were ok.We have mineral stains on our dark bathroom sink counter top. We called for servicing said we think it might be salt but wanted to check incase. He looked at the softener settings said it was off. Thing is it was a Culligan tech who original set them up (another one). We waited a month still had the same issue called again. He came back made some more adjustments to increase the amount of water softened. We told him again we think its salt because the water is slightly salty. he said if there was an issue the water would be "very" salty. A month later we still had the same issue. We gave up got the water tested and it was salt.Keep in mind this is the same tech we have his name on record. On that visit to service our RO system the second time. We mentioned that it was salt for his own learning, and he said he doesn't deal with softeners that was another department. He was the same guy that came to service our water softener in the first place, think he'd remember us after 4 visits. His name is listed as the tech on the **** each time and he's not an easy to forget guy.Called Culligan voiced my complaint, said they will have a manager call me back. Never did, I told them I want my service cancelled right now and we can chat more later. So I get a **** for reminder for upcoming annual service renewal. I emailed them to say I cancelled already please confirm this is a mistake. No reply after 11 days, I get letter in the mail saying I have a **** past due.Absolutely horrible service.
