On the website of Standard Process **** it advertises a financial inducement to doctors: "We welcome you to a new way of growing your business by joining our family"... see: https://www.standardprocess.com/practitioner-benefits I am a practicing Chiropractic Physician, in ***** under ******* emergency declaration. On or about February 22, 2022 I applied for a Practitioner's Account online. On February 23, 2022 I received this email reply from ************************************** "To open an account with Standard Process you must be a licensed health care provider in specific health care fields in the state that you are actively residing and practicing in." On February 25, I replied to NewAccountRep that I reside and practice in *****, under the emergency disaster declaration of the Governor of ***** and submitted attachments of the Governor's Proclamation, the ***** disaster License Exemption and my chiropractic license. And requested they reconsider my application. The follow up reply continued to deny my application request. Standard Process induces doctors from every state to apply to sell their products; they are currently not in compliance with state and federal laws. Furthermore, their application guidelines are not on public display.Customer response

Have you heard from the company? No, I have not.
Are you satisfied with the company's efforts to resolve this matter? No, I am not.
If not, please explain. Standard Process promised me that I could make money selling their products to my patients. They have denied me an additional income of at least $5,000/year. They have refused to reply to an obvious failure to accommodate in this time of national health disaster.Kind Regards,**********************Business response

Thank you for your interest in Standard Process. Standard Process is in compliance with all state and federal laws regarding the sales of its products. No requirement exists requiring companies to display their application guidelines. Standard Process makes no promise of expected sales for their account holders. Standard Process requirements for licensure are not an attempt to enforce state licensing laws. They are in place to assist with the enforcement of our resale policy and the resale of our products. We stand by our decision not to open your account.Customer response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The documents I have initially submitted, which I assume BBB forwarded to Standard Process, express the law of ***** regarding licensing, which SP has refused to acknowledge causing their prejudice against me and thus lost income.Standard Process promises doctors they could make money selling their products to their patients. They have denied me additional income of at least $5,000/year. I have asked SP to conform to the ***** state laws that I have submitted and they have failed to do so.
Regards,
