      I bought a brand new 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit 4xe on December 21st, 2022. Within a day of bringing the new Jeep home, I get a "rear air suspension needs immediate attention." I called the Sales Manager immediately to explain the issue. He told me it was because of the cold weather. NOPE, by the 3rd day the suspension is completely destroyed and I had to take it in. Despite the Sales Manager and Service Department telling me it should not happen, it happened. On 12/26 I brought the Jeep in and was told I would get a quick response to the issue. It took numerous phone calls into the Service Department to get an answer on what was wrong. By day 5 they finally had time to look at the issue and it would take another 7-10 days to get the new part. Amazing, Ewald representatives told me it is impossible to have these issues so early after buying a new Jeep, but it happened. On 1/13/23 the Jeep was ready to be picked up. I asked for either a full refund or a discount on my day old purchase. What did I get? The Sales Person (Austin), Sales Manager (Kyle) and Customer Service Manager all going silent. No responses to phone calls or emails and it took Eric ***** (Owner) to email me after the Jeep was done that I was going to get nothing from Ewald on the issue. I needed to "Sue Jeep" if I wanted a refund. No help, no assistance and at this point they had my car for 15 days and I had it for only 5 days. Before all of this hassle, the Sales Manager begged me to give a good Google Review because they take it "seriously" and a good review gets Austin some more money in his pocket. What did he do, lie to me on the arrival of the car, not follow up once and get upset I paid cash. I am a repeat customer and have used their Service Dept many times. Looking back, the minute I paid cash for this car and did not sign up for their Service Plan, their tone with me changed. I will never do anything with this dealership every again.

      never buy vehicle here and trust them to remove old plates and destroy them. I bought a new car here and was told they would remove old plates. About 4-5 months later I started getting tickets out of Chicago on the vehicle I traded in. They had auction off my old vehicle with the old plates still on and I was getting tickets for illegal parking and expired plates. I talked to general manager and his comments and attitude was things happen. It took me 4 months of work and communication to the courts in Chicago to resolve this and save me $1200.00 . Each ticket had to be addressed individually, had to contact state of WI. for proof I did not own car any more and forward all info all to courts of Chicago.

      Horrible customer service Should have their license revoked.. I purchased a certified vehicle and they didn't even look at the vehicle.. My car didn't have an owner's manual had to call and complaint and try to have one sent to me and they ended up sending may 2020 orders male.. When I checked underneath the hood car needed half a gallon of water coolant made me doubt they didn't even check the fluids in the car at all. And the most expensive one batteries inhorrible inhorrible shape under 12 ***** there 12 V now I'm stuck with a **** of $400 it needs 2 Batteries Plus installation. I have called several times and nobody calls me back their certification is a joke! Shame on you for saying you did a certification check up on this vehicle it was sold as certified but you did not do anything to this vehicle! Your certification program fails in every way

      I will never buy a vehicle from this company EVER again! Had my vehicle for 2 weeks and it started making a terrible noise from the engine. I called every day for two months and always got sent to a voicemail and never got a call back. Finally left a message with the general manager and got a call back a few days later and he wasn't helpful at all about resolving the issue. I finally took it to a different dealership where the transaxle was replaced. Never received any follow up from ewald except a text from the gm about a tire sale in October, because I mentioned the tires were crap on the vehicle as well. They also installed a hitch on my vehicle, which took a week and a half because they kept ordering the wrong wiring harness. When I finally got my vehicle back, the hitch was installed crooked, the wires are hanging from the back, and they just used double sided sticky tape to hold the wires up in the bumper! All this was mentioned to gm and no resolution. But at this point if they even offered to fix all of the above I would decline because I dont believe they would do it correctly or mess something else in the process.
