We have built many homes and the customer service and quality is one of the poorest I have seen in the business and my family is in real estate development. Our siding is completely bubbling out and falling off after 1.5 years. We conducted a walkthrough within the first year timeline to address issues regarding nail pops which are on every sq foot of every wall in our home, siding, driveway installation and seeding our lawn which none of these items have been addressed. I have left numerous messages for the builders since the walkthrough with no response. I am seeking legal counsel at this point.Review from David M

We purchased our home last November from Oevering and have been repairing the problems ever since. Very good you have a year warranty to fix the and adjust problems. What they do not tell you until confronted that they will only attend to the problems one time after 11 months or so, keep a list they say and live with the problems until we get around to fix them. Believe me there poor quality starts to show up very quickly, I am 70 years old and lived in many homes in my life, this one is by far in fact leaps and bound the worst quality and service. The one thing they are good at is excuses. So do not be blinded by the looks of the home, have a building inspection done your will be surprised what they find. I have spent a lot of time and money repairing what should have been correctly built, some of which they know about and have done nothing to date. I am in a way embarrassed even to share this story, but when they call themself homes Builders I thought there would be some trust there and don't settle for the ( you get what you pay for excuse ) in this case I did not get what I paid for which I though was a quality home.Review from patrick m

Poor quality, really shoddy materials and construction (a lot of corner cutting). You'll end up having to pour a bunch of money into these homes just to get them where they need to be. So just beware. We've lived here for year and the house is falling apart-which shouldn't be the case. These homes are junk with a nice facade.Review from Justin R

I don't know where to start. I was scheduled to have the hole dug in February which was complete. The home was to be started in March. March 1st all the lumber arrived on the jobsite. It's now mid May and all the lumber is still sitting there uncovered. When speaking with them, they asked if I knew any good framers and send them their way, very unprofessional. I'm so excited to be homeless now since my lease is up, and I have no place to go since my home was to be finished in April, then May, then June now maybe August. I also received an email in April stating they are in the middle of framing schedule wise, yet it's still sitting in piles growing a weed bed. This is all after I bought a house from them a year ago which was built wrong so this is their attempt to make it right. Still waiting......I hope all this lumber that's been sitting in the dirt for months, uncovered provides a true, unwarped framing that doesn't have long term affects. Maybe if we wait and keep pushing it out, interest rates will jump and I can't afford the home anyway. I was going to leave a zero start review but that isn't an option so I'm thinking of something to give them 1 star and maybe because they do email on occasion telling me it's getting pushed back and I'm a top priority will be enough to push it up to a 1 star?

Our sincere apologies are extended to Justin and his family for the long wait on his project. Our team has been working through a few issues on getting started, including road restrictions, poor soil conditions (very wet/standing water) on the lot, and most recently a framing labor shortage. While we are working through these items, we still have our clients best interests in mind, and do plan to begin framing on their house with our next available framing contractor. In this unprecedented time, our team is navigating an unexpectedly high volume of projects, in addition to routine backorders, materials, and labor shortages as well. Lumber and other building materials can be swapped if necessary, as we want to ensure that we build a quality home for Mr. R**** and his family.
