I have had Batzner for over 20 years. Contacting the service is pitiful. They have mechanized their customer service to a VRU which doesnt recognize entries from a cell phone. Its circular logic and frustrating. Instead of having four times a year, its now three. Rates have been raised to $50 a month without prior notice.Review from Partha R

I have used Batzner for more than a decade. However everything went upside down since COVID. There was no service and at the same there was no billing. But one fine day the billing started but there was no service. Called nearly 5 times to understand what is happening. I don't mind paying if the same level of service continues. Now I am really confused if they are even doing any kind of service even in this area. In one of the calls they said they even did service. But no one really came. Their proof is a paper that says that they did service. I asked if they can come again and basically no response. This round robin has been going on. I want to make sure this gets fully cancelled but this limbo state continues.Batzner Pest Control Response

Got a quote , end of Sept, for over $ 8,000.00 to take care of a possible mice control in the attic,,, the quote said it would remove the insulation,disinfect , and put more insulation,,, the salesman made me believe that this was necessary, to take care of the possible problem,,, I went ahead and had two other companies check the attic,,, and neither thought that I needed to do anything,as they did not see a problem,,So, with their recommendations, I did nothing, Now, just sold my house, passed inspection,without a problem. DO NOT USE Batzner/Rentokil. I have reported my issues to BBB and will be looking into legal representation to acquire my monies back. I have spent over 45 days trying to get monies returned to me. I was on a quarterly service plan, they failed to reach out the last 2 quartely time periods and would have continued charging my card for services they failed at preforming. Thought I had a competent rep at the call center that assured me I'd receive my full refund that we discussed within 2 weeks. I haven't received anything except for a letter saying I'd be refunded a much lower amount. I've talked to half a dozen reps all providing contradiction statments over the last 45 days and that I'd get a call back each time which never happened. You can't speak with anyone with greater authority to help you either. Don't even get me started on trying to schedule as you'll agree with the rep on the phone for a set time and day and they'll schedule you for something completely different. What a nightmare, there are much better local options. Do not recommend Batzner/Rentokil for anything!!Batzner Pest Control Response

Good Afternoon, unless I have the incorrect address you paid for a service for one pest with a 60-day warranty. We were out several times and treated for two different issues. The second pest issue was supposed to be an additional ***** charge that was credited. Go somewhere else for pest control service, as you will have bigger problems than just mice and spiders. You will be pestered by collection agencies and threatening letters from Batzner stating you owe money. I paid my bill in full immediately, yet began receiving letters for over a year requesting payment and telling me I had a delinquent balance. I just received another one with bold red print at the top stating, FINAL ATTEMPT FOR COLLECTION. Throughout this past year I tried calling the number associated with the business and left messages with zero responses. I sent emails and received zero responses. A month ago I spoke with an actual person who did not know how to resolve the issue, yet promised a supervisor would call me. To date, still no response. I'm not sure what is happening with this business, but the lack of communication and the possibility that your credit score could be damaged are both good reasons to go elsewhere.Batzner Pest Control Response

I am truly sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. We as a company have made several large changes in the systems we have been using. The systems were outdated and in upgrading them information was not all transferred correctly. We have stabilized our systems and are working on improving our communication as well.Review from sharon b

OK. They have an answering service that is outrageous. I know I am calliing the Phillipines, but they deny that. You push numerous buttons on the phone to even get someone to talk to. One guy told me I have an unconfirmed appt on Jun 18, but they can't come on a Sunday. I never made an this appt. I hung up and called again. Some girl who was sniffeling constantly on the phone and appeared dumber then a fence post. Made me an appt with a technician who has never been to my home. I requested my regular technician and that totally confused her. They also told me they will call in June to schedule appts. So far, I received no calls or emails. This has happened before when they passed me up for my June service. Their calls are being sent to some answering service, and believe me, they are not too well trained or familiar with the English language. The nose sniffeler who took my call tried to pronounce my name about 5 times, and it got to be annoying. What is going on with this company? How do you get to talk to someone in the office? I can't imagine trying to explain a problem to this service. I read that they are transitioning to a BETTER system???? Really? After calling twice, I am considering transitioning to a better service.Batzner Pest Control Response

I have been a Batzner customer intermittently over the last 8 years. Since I signed up for the monthly plan a year and a half ago it is nearly impossible to get ahold of anyone if you have a problem. Last summer and again this summer I have called multiple times for a carpenter bee problem; I'm told every call that someone will return my call to schedule an appointment. Have yet to receive a return call. Asked to speak with a supervisor who cannot schedule an appointment, (why can't a supervisor schedule an appointment??), cannot help me resolve the problem and cannot escalate my problem to anyone. Her answer was "We have 24H to return your call." So here I sit >24H later with no return call. Customer service is terribleBatzner Pest Control Response

Great service! I called with a pest issue and within the next business day someone was out to help. The customer service team is friendly and I've never had a billing issue. The techs are knowledgeable and helpful.Review from Devon N

We scheduled a routine spraying in the summer of 2021. The tech came and performed the service. We paid that day as the invoice stated COD (cash on delivery). In March of 2023, we started receiving phone calls and letters from a collections agency. I called Batzner and after several days someone called to say it appeared that payment was not received. Its disappointing, to say the least, that no one from Batzner contacted us in the days, weeks, months or year following the service to ask whether we paid the tech. Furthermore, no invoice was sent because again, per their policy, payment is due at the time of service. Rather than wait more than 18 months and pass it along to collections, they should question their tech.Batzner Pest Control Response

I have been a Batzner customer for more than 15yrs. I’ve found them to be helpful and responsive in helping me control pest problems at my home. I don’t see myself having any other service for my pest control needs.
