In August of 2020, I had a mammogram. To make an 18 month long story short, the billing company for ******* Radiology (Infinity HealthCare) made multiple mistakes. Eventually, all bills were paid, except for one charge of $158.00, which Children's Community Health Plan (CCHP) informed me was not payable by them, but illegal for ******* Radiology to charge me for. I spoke with 3 or 4 representatives from CCHP regarding this charge as I was advised to contact them if I ever receive another **** for this service. Every time a **** came in the mail, I contacted CCHP, a representative would put me on hold and reach out to the company to inform them that they are not allowed to charge me for this specific service. The last time I called CCHP in a panic, because the **** said that they would send me to collections if I didn't pay. The representative informed me that there is currently a huge investigation into Infinity HealthCare regarding faulty billing. She said that she would escalate my issue, so it would be addressed in the current investigation. On Saturday, I received a **** from **************************** for the $158.00 radiology service that is illegal to charge me for, according to CCHP. I emailed them to dispute the charge and I also emailed CCHP. Today I received an email reply from CCHP, but the representative, like many others, had to start all over from the beginning to first find the charge, then determine that I shouldn't pay the $158.00 and continue with the same motions that they've been doing for the past 18 months. Unfortunately, I don't have that kind of time. My **** is already at a collection bureau and I don't want my excellent credit to be ruined because of this **** that CCHP told me not to pay. It is true that I have a $0 copay/deductible through ********* which I believe has something to do with why I'm not supposed to be charged. Nevertheless, I can't get this issue resolved unless an executive with CCHP intervenes to resolve the issue.
