Last year, I filed my taxes with this company and everything went well. I sent my tax papers in with a thank you card and envelope. The thank you cards were returned, but my taxes were completed. This year, the department changed negatively. In May 2021, I asked them to file my taxes. They gave me an extension. On May 20th, 2021, I sent my taxes information to ***************************** by certified mail through the US Postal System. In June, I have not heard from ***** or her team. In July 2021, I contacted the *** and asked for a follow-up on my taxes. The *** said that NO TAXES were filed. I emailed ***** because she REFUSED to call me on the telephone. She said that she did not receive my taxes even though the *** POSTAL SERVICE said that "someone from her office picked up the papers." I have not heard from her yet, and this is now August 2021. I will be uploading the EVIDENCE for proper documentation. Even though I sent her the wrong tracking number, the mail was still delivered.Business response

We were contacted by *********************** around May 13 2021 to file her 2020 tax return. *** due date was May 15 2021. As it was 2 days before the due date we were extremely busy with preparing last minute tax files for clients. Due to COVID and shutdowns and the extended filing season our office was trying to meet the deadline for many clients.
When *********************** contacted our office we told her that we could not meet the deadline but we would file an extension and her taxes would then be due by October 15 2021.
*********** contacted our office and told us that she would mail in her documents or drop them off at our office or upload the files.
We did set her up on our online portal on May 14, 2021. ************ told us she doesn't have a smartphone so she couldn't proceed with the portal. She sent an online file but we could not access it. She then said she would drop off or mail to our office.
On July 6, 2021, ************ contacted our office and said she asked the *** about her refund and they don't have any filing for her.
I told her that we never received her documentation and she told me she mailed the file certified mail.
I asked her to do an inquiry with the post office as we never received and perhaps it was still at post office? She sent me a tracking number. I looked up the tracking number and it stated that someone picked it up at the post office. We never picked it up at the post office, we don't go to the post office, our office is open Monday - Friday and the postman would deliver directly to our office.
I inquired further into the Tracking ********* *** post office told me it had a delivery address of ****************************** - that is the ***************************. I then asked ************ to recheck the tracking no. ************ gave me a second tracking number and that shows delivery to ****** Jail.?
I asked ************ what was in the envelope as we would help her get duplicates.
We did not refuse to call ************ on the telephone. At the time of her inquiries of getting taxes prepared we were extremely busy and the most efficient way of communication is email.
We have been more than willing to help her but we are not getting the correct information to follow up on her package she mailed. She will need to track the package or get replacement W2s.
