1 starForced to use this company for my children's high school. I am very unhappy. Firstly, the sizing is horrific. If I purchase a skirt for my daughter that fits in the waist, it will be too tight in the hips (Mind you, this child is 5'10" and 140 and not an odd shape) and if I purchase to fit in her hips, the skirt is huge in the waist. I used their sizing chart and talked to someone and it did not help at all. Additionally, I purchased an XL Tall shirt for my son and that fit well, the XL fleece was more like a XXL or 3XL in size. He is a 38" waist on pants in every other brand. For this company, he would need a 42" waist. The fabric on the women's shirts is almost like a dry fit, but is incredibly thick and the hem on the cap sleeves is odd. It is almost like it doesn't want to lay flat.When I originally called to return items, the representative never remind me about the return policy only being store credit, and so I didn't ask for an exchange, thinking I would get my money back. So I purchased more items and now I have $170 in store credit that I will not be using all of. I called customer service and spoke with a very nice representative who asked her manager if there was anything they could do and he said the policy was clearly outlined and I was told ahead of time. I am so not impressed with this organization and wish they would change this policy back. Apparently, I am not the only one.Global Schoolwear

We understand that sometimes you receive an item that doesnt meet your needs or fit as you expected, and you simply want to replace it with an alternate size or style. Earlier this year we introduced an Easy Exchange program this year that allows you to return and reorder at no out-of-pocket cost, and we will rush order processing of your replacement item(s). I think the exchange option would have been a great solution for your situation, since you were simply replacing items for the correct size. However, if an exchange is not what you are looking for, you may return any item (in new condition) within 30-days for an e-gift card refund. The details of our policy, including both the Exchange and Return options, are outlined on our website, on the checkout page (prior to completing purchase), and on the email confirmation that is sent immediately following order placement.Your satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us. I do see that that after you spoke with customer service last week that we made a one time policy exception and issued a refund to your original form of payment (credit card) for both return orders you created, instead of a returning on a store credit. 1 starThey dont return YOUR money back to YOUR account. They give you a gift card and put an expiration date on it. Be cautious about what you decide to get! They need to fix this stupid policy because it is scummy and scammy. No one reads what you write in fine print!Global Schoolwear

We offer a generous return and exchange policy that is clearly detailed on our webpage, on the checkout page (prior to completing purchase), and on the email confirmation that is sent immediately following order placement.When a guest selects to make a return, we provide an e-gift card refund. We do this because most items, especially logod or hemmed, cannot be put back into our inventory for various reasons. Often our customers dont realize that we cannot repurpose our returns, so we wanted to take a moment and share that important detail with you. 1 starYou cannot return the products. I ordered multiple sizes for my daughter to try, like I would at any online store, and I am unable to return them for a refund. They only issue e-giftcards. 1 starI placed a $318 order on July 5th, 2024 for my daughter high school uniform. The sizings on the website are inaccurate. I measured my daughter many times to ensure that the sizings would be correct. I returned few of items on the day that I received them because I thought it would be easier than exchanging. I ordered again on July 14th and spent another $195. I haven't received one email from Global SchoolWear regarding the status of items that I have returned and the website doesn't show the status either. I HATE THIS WEBSITE! How can exchange be easier than return? I returned the items and I placed a new order for the same items in a different sizes. I didn't know that by returning the items I would get a gift card. When I was doing the return the website didn't notify me about refunding would be as gift card, I just found out about this return policy today. I apologize for not reading the return policy, but I didn't order 2 or 3 different sizes for my daughter to try them and then return what didn't fit her. I ordered one size of each item and I measured my child before I placed the order. I DON'T WANT A GIFT CARD FROM THIS COMPANY, I JUST WANT THE REFUND BACK ON MY CREDIT CARD PLEASE!Global Schoolwear

I do see that back on July 31st our customer service team made a one-time exception to give you your refund on your credit card instead of a gift card. I hope that helped you. Right above the checkout button in the shopping cart, we do have a link to our new Easy Exchange Program (new for 2024) and our updated Return Policy due to the new exchange program. Our goal with the new Easy Exchange program is to make it so you don't have to put another charge on your card just to change sizes and this program accelerates your replacement order. I see you did use this once and I hope you found it helpful. It does show there is one refund that hasn't been paid yet as we haven't received the item. We will trust that you have mailed it in and we have proactively refunded you the final $27.75. Finally, I do understand sizing can be challenging and we are always striving to improve the experience so we can get it right the first time. 1 starThe reviews below are correct in their description of the ill-fitting uniforms and their inaccurate sizes. I also took great care in taking my child's measurements and comparing them to their size charts before placing an order. Last year, my 6th-grade daughter wore a size 12 in every other brand on the market. After taking her measurements, the size 12 should have fit her. But once we got the order, she couldn't get the size 12 skirt over her hips. So I ordered up an size and bought her size 14 skirts. Again, the skirts should have fit, but they didn't. So I ordered her a plus size 12.5, which was huge in the waist and required almost all of the elastic in the adjustable waistband to be pulled out, but we made do because the school dictated this to be the brand for the school uniforms. She is not a plus-sized girl! But she's at the age she's developing some curves. At the end of the school year, the size 12.5's were getting a tight so I ordered her one size up for next year, but size 14.5 skirts barely fit over her hips while they were massive in the waist. So I placed a second order for 16.5, which fit over her hips but were even more massive in the waist and go past her knees in length. So I will have to hem all of them! When I attempted to return the 14.5, I found out that Global Schoolwear changed it's return policy and will only provide e-gift cards for refunds vs refunding my credit card. If I knew this, I would have done the return of the 14.5 first. I bought 7 skirts size 14.5 for over $250 and then 5 skirts in 16.5 for over $160 and they are keeping my money. Truly pathetic. DON'T BUY FROM HERE. THEIR SIZE GUIDES ARE OFF FORCING YOU TO MAKE MULTIPLE PURCHASES AND THEN THEY WON'T REFUND YOUR MONEY. 1 starLeaving my review here because reaching out to the company itself does no good. They don't have to care, many of their buyers are forced to buy from them (like me). I cannot stress enough how much I wish I didn't have to order from this brand. For those shopping for uniforms that have choices, avoid this company at all costs. It takes at minimum 30 days to get your order, and the sizing chart is not accurate on the website (I took a lot of care with this step as to avoid this issue knowing they are not a speedy company) so when the sizing is off it's a HUGE issue. Our school does not allow other brands, so we were stuck keeping 2 pairs of the 6 pants that were one size too big because we didn't have time to wait. We originally ordered over 3 weeks before school even started, our uniforms didn't arrive until almost 2 weeks after. When we realized they didn't fit, I reordered the size down immediately and it took 3 weeks for 2 of the 3 pairs of pants and I'm still waiting on the 3rd. This is not an anomoly, this is consistent if you order from July - October every single year. So, just hope your kid doesn't have a growth spurt at the wrong time I guess. It makes me wonder what this company offers schools to keep them on their program.Global Schoolwear

We strive to keep the time from order placement to shipping as low as possible, but we acknowledge this does get extended at times. I'm glad to see 2 out of the 3 of your orders were shipped within the given times, but I apologize for missing the timeline on the 3rd. I am glad to see all items have now shipped. 1 starThis company doesn't even deserve ONE STAR, not only did shipping take a month, but they put a "HOLD" on my card every week to make sure the money was there. Every week I was short on money because they put a hold on my account and it never showed that the money was put back into my account. I called every week for an answer and they had no answer. I have reviewed your order and payment history and I see that we voided your original authorization and re-authorized your card two weeks after your order was placed. That is our standard practice to ensure credit card authorizations remain active and there is no delays in your ship with an out-of-date authorization. Your order was placed on 8/16 and that occurred on 8/31. I don't see any other authorization attempts. If this caused trouble with your card, we are greatly sorry for that issue. We always make sure to void the original authorization first. If you saw any other pre-authorizations, please let us know so we can investigate that issue. 1 starTerrible customer service, I placed an order and it shipped almost a month later. I received an email stating it was delivered but it definitely wasnt. I asked for the tracking number as it was not delivered. A week later I recover a response with a tracking number, I asked why they said it was delivered and commented the customer service was awful and you have to wait weeks for a response. Still no response to that email. Definitely will find another option and have discouraged other parents at our school from supporting this company.Global Schoolwear

1 starSuch a terrible company! When I placed my order on 8/20/23, they informed me via email that "my order is on our production floor and will ship from our facility within the next 7 business days". I followed up on 9/1 which was 10 days later and was told "Your order is processing. Our current processing time is 10-15 business days not including the day your order was placed. You can expect delivery in 18-23 business days after your order was placed." That same night (9/4) I got an email again that my order is in production and my order is in production and should be shipped in 7 business days and then I received another email on 9/6 saying the same thing. I called GSW on 9/7 to find out what's going on she told me my items will not be ready for another 2 weeks bc they are almost shipping and shipping time can take 7+ days. That is over a ONE MONTH WAIT TIME for two pairs or pants and shirts. UNACCEPTABLE. After I inquired whether they could at least give me a discount for this poor service, she put me on hold and then hung up on me. Unfortunately, they seem to be the only company our school uses so I can't get out of the monopoly but it is insulting to have to give them our money. 1 starI placed an order with Global Schoolwear on 7/30/23. A month later 8/29/23 I still haven't received my order. I called in and after a 35 minute wait, they tried to blame it on *** saying they must have lost the package. They placed a new order for me but the price has dropped significantly %25. I asked if I could get todays pricing since the order was being placed today. Simply issue me a credit or cancel my order and create a new one at todays price. They did not do either.
