I had placed an order with Golden Hawk LLC on 02/08/2023 for a canoe. They asked that I pay in full so they could order the materials and start building the canoe as soon as possible. I wrote out a check which was cashed within two weeks of the order being placed. After not hearing from the company at all for over a month I started to make attempts at contacting them to get a rough idea of when I can expect my canoe. After many attempts I finally got a response that the order would be ready for pick up early spring of 2023. When spring has come around I had been told that there are 4 orders ahead of mine and that I should call back in a couple weeks. I called back and was told that my canoe was in the build process and should be ready in 2 more weeks. After this I have made daily attempts leaving voicemails, and emails to get a response to when I can expect my order but only to be ignored. I have seen recent posts on ******** on their company page that people are experiencing similar issues. It is now late summer and I still have yet to receive my order, a response, or even an excuse for the hold up. I have sent many emails and voicemails and Im not sure what else I can do. A local website even did an article about the company praising them for their product, history and business. In this article the owner goes on to explain that it only takes **** hours to build a single boat. This is a slap in the face to customers who have had to wait up to a year to receive their order and been fed lies to about when they can expect their order to be delivered. I had made several plans this summer where I would need the boat I ordered to either camp and navigate terrain to guide other fisherman. I have had to cancel trips and reservations or even rent boats to make up for the equipment I do not have because Golden Hawk has failed to deliver. Please help me.Thank you,Initial Complaint

Transaction Date: Ordered from ******* over the phone on 5-5-22 at 3:45pm. Order number is 2012534.Paid $2,219.98 via CC over phone... Owner ******* told me to expect an August 2022 delivery.More than a year later and no communications from company. Sent multiple request via email and phone calls to refund my money. No response.I did get one response in a demand email letter I sent on April 10th 2023. See attachment. His response was he would have it done in a week. on 2/8/2023 golden hawk took out ******** out of my bank acct, for a ***************************. i havent heard nothing from them. i called, sent email and no response. i need help do i get a canoe or my money back
