      I received a 1099R for ******* from madison national life insurance but did not receive the money it was suppoedly sent to fifth third in *********** ** on 11/18/23 as a direct deposit the bank did not receive the deposit. they also checked all acounts for the 17th and 19th that amount was not deposited into any account on those days

      This is from a bill dated October 10,2023. I pay $83.53 every three months for my premium which would be October, ******************* of 2023. I got a statement in December saying they never received my payment mailed in October. I emailed them a copy of the check which they say they never got the email so I faxed the front of the check and back where they cashed it. They did receive that. Since then I have talked to a total of 6 people and they have yet to resolve the issue saying its under review. In the meantime I got a statement saying the policy due in October 24, 2023 was not paid during the grace ****** so your policy has been converted to a non-forfeiture option. I called them again and talked to two more people who acknowledged that yes it was paid back in October and they will send me confirmation of such and convert the policy back to the original. I never received anything and didnt receive a bill for the January, February, March payment as promised. I am 85 soon to be 86 years old and I feel that they are trying to con me out of this policy when I pass, a policy I have paid on for years. Everytime you call there you get a different person apologizing and promising to fix it but no one does. The policy for the life insurance is a $10,000 .00 policy. I would like some help to get this straightened out.

They have the canceled check in front of them and I think they are not doing anything and trying to pacify me,  It possibly cannot take that long to resolve a simple issue. I want a specific date as to when it will be resolved .

THEY REPORT THAT I OPEND THIS PLAN BUT HAVE ONLY A SIGNATURE THAT IS A **MPUTER SIGNATURE (FONT) TO PROVE IT AND AFTER ALL THESE YEARS, HAVE NEVER **NTACTED ME IN ANY MANNER TO **NIFRM THAT I WANTED TO **NTINUE THE PLAN (OR ANYTHING ELSE), NEVER SENT ME PROOF OF PAYMENT, OR AN INSURANCE CARD. EACH TIME I TALK TO THEM, THEY GIVE ME **NFLICTING INFORMATION, FIRST IT'S A DENTAL PLAN, THEN CAR INSURANCE (I HAVE NOT HAVE A CAR SINCE SEPT 2018), THEN HEALTH INSURANCE. EACH PERSON I SPEAK TO TELLS ME IT'S NOT THEIR DEPARTMENTS RESPONSIBILITY AND THE DIFFERENT DEPARTMENTS DO NOT **MMUNICATE SO SINCE RESOLUTION HAS BEEN IMPOSSIBLE. ALSO THE **NTRACT SAYS VALID FOR 30 MONTHS AND THEY HAVE BEEN TAKING MONEY FROM ME, WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE, SINCE JANUARY 2018. THE PRESIDENT OF THIS ** IS ******************** (LOVES TO GRAB UR MONEY) AND SECRETARY IS *******************************. I AM 63 YEARS OLD.

      After reviewing this matter, the Insured was notified of this result under BBB Consumer Complaint No. 20437120. Please note that a refund check in the amount of $2,064.89 was issued on August 18, 2023, and the check was cashed on August 28, 2023. A copy of the refund check contains personal information, so we are unable to attach a copy with this website response.

      I was in law enforcement and had an incident. I paid for short term and the long term benefit for 9 years about. There was a dispute with my job paying me work comp so I tried to use Madison national short term and was ultimately denied. And I would only be able to use long term. I authorized them to pull all my records in case the time came where I needed to use long term. Well in January I was pulled out of work by the doctor and put on a no work status. I contacted Madison national and told them I wanted to use the long term benefit. They didnt obtain my records previously and had to make a new request. There was a delay with the doctors office getting them which took a month. Then they wanted records from a counselor, who has no involvement with restricting my employment. I worked on it and got them the records for that. All the while I have not been getting paid. Im losing everything. Then Im told they have to contact a 3rd party to interview me and the doctor which would take at minimum 1 business days. I paid for this insurance and have yet to be able to use it. This was for emergencies. Now Im in one and am going to lose everything. Not be able to support my family and my claim rep told me to ask community for support, like a church. Insane.

      I have been trying to contact their customer service over 3 mths and their answering system isn't working. It doesn't allow you to talk to anyone after being on hold for hours. I need a copy of my statement. They have merged with another company and it has been impossible to contact anyone. I am mailing a letter, sent an email and sent a fax and hopefully I can contact someone. I'm retired and starting to feel uncomfortable about my policy and investment...Please call me @ ************ or respond to my email @ ***************************
