Out of all of the current insurance companies that I have had American family connect Hass to be The worst customer service for car insurance companies I’ve ever used. Towards the end of 2023 they were unreachable for over three months in their voicemail. They said you can reach out to them through an email and I never heard back after a dozen emails that I have sent and then finally when I spoke to somebody they said we never received it and it was so uncaring, and then I can’t my insurance any longer because they pull out of the state of ********** and they told me that the coverage ended and they tell me we sent you information which was BS. Every person I’ve spoke to was so uncaring unthoughtful and had an attitude and they’re overpriced in the beginning it seemed really great and the prices were amazing but something has changed, I never use this company ever again. Also, when you speak to them, they overt on you, which is a form of gaslighting and To deflective. It’s almost narcissistic and I feel like they just don’t care. I had a wreck * *** *** ** ******** ****** ** ** o January 30, 2024! I got hit by a drivetgoig at last ***** MPH in a 35 MPH zone! ***** said t DOES OT MATTER HOE FAST HE WAS GOIG, I PULLED OUT IN FRONT OF HIM I contated Connet Ins. cmpany and was told "IT DOES NOT MATTER HOW FAST HE WAS GONG, I PULLED OUT IN FRONT OF HIM! IT COST ME OVER $9,500 and my insurance went up! HGHLY CORRUPT BUSINESS WITH LYING CLAIM WORKERS THAT BLAME VICTIMS AND LET GUILTY PEOPLE BENEFIT! *** ******* ***** ********* ******* aid th ame thing! IT DOES NOR MATTER HOW FAST I GOT HIT, I PULLD OUT IN FRONT OF HIM CAUSING THE WRECK! I SAID THERE WAS NOTHING VISIBLE AS FAR AS I COULD SEE AND GOT HIT LESS THAN 5 SECONDS AFTER PULLG OUT! Th ******** ************* gave me a date and time for court but nnlicatio! put ********************************* in my TOMTOM GPS ad ws sent t the wrong lotion three times! I missed court and was told that **** get a notice telling me abot the paymnt two weeks! Court ws February 24, 2024 at 11 AM! I was there and at the wrong court unknowngly ad tried a County Court and was told they have OTHING THEY SAID I GOT THE RUN AROUND AND GO HOME! ON APRIL 16th I got th notice of FAILURE TO APPEAR! I WENT TO EVERY COURT IN TH AREA FOR TWO DAYS TRYING TO GET HELP T RESOLVE THIS SITUATION! DAY TWO OF TRYING I WENT BACK TO EVERY **** AND STILL GOT NOTHING! FINALLY AFTER HOURS OF TRYING A LADY IN THE **** OF ******** COUNTY COURT TOLD ME WHRE TO GO WHIH WAD ACROSS THE STREET! WALKED OVER AFTER CALLING A NVE?******* AD TELLING HIM THAT I AM GOING TO *********************************************************** where to go! It turned out that I already went to the Clerk of Court before this and got no help from her! T ffier called came out and told me I got him ****** ff! After seeng the Clerk of Court twie I finally got the paper wrk to take to the *** to keep my driver's license! I was hit by another driver on 11-25 and the police report clearly states that. But the claims adjuster did not reach out once during the repair process and could not prove either party’s fault despite the police report stating so. Absolutely useless! Do not recommend taking this insurance at all despite it being under ******.CONNECT, Powered by American Family Insurance Response

This insurance company should not be allowed to operate. They indulge in lies and completely ignoring the truth and do not want to investigate into accidents to avoid being responsible. I was hit by one of their customers while I was parked at the parking lot of ********* in ********** ** on December 10th. The lady who hit me exchanged insurance information and I took pictures. When *****, my insurance company reached out to them to take responsibility and pay my deductible, they denied responsibility and claimed that my car was moving. They told ***** that they need to speak to me to resolve this. It's been 2 months and they do not pick up my calls or return my calls, leading me to believe that they feel that if they ignore me and tire me out, I will go away. In my opinion they practice falsified information without basis and do not operate in good faith. I am surprised that they are still an A+ rated company with so many complaints. This is not one off, and this seems to be their modus operandi. I will file a legal case against them for fraud though the deductible money is minor - if BBB is not able to get a response from them. I have been a customer of Connect Insurance (home and auto) for several years. My truck was stolen, tires taken off of the truck and abandoned in another city. Found my truck in an impound, filed a claim with Connect Insurance on 1/11/2024. I requested to have my truck taken to the collision shop of the dealership I frequently go to Danielle ******* the Connect insurance rep told me my vehicle had to be taken to one of their preferred third-party collision shops. I obliged as it was too much going on. However, I learned this was incorrect. Connect Insurance to my truck to ****** ********* on 1/23/2024, I dropped off my keys and checked out the damages. I mentioned to Danielle that my passenger headlight was cracked and there were scratches on my front bumper that were not there prior to the incident. Danielle told me they would not cover these damages due to not knowing if they were there prior to the incident. Told me I could file a separate claim for both damages, meaning 2 additional claims. On 3/22/2024 I called the insurance company because they sent something certified mailed, and I missed the postal worker. The young lady I spoke with stated my insurance was cancelled due to miss payment and they would not reinstate my insurance. I asked how they could cancel and not allow a grace period since they did not receive the notice stating the letter was delivered. She began to talk over me, then yelled we will not reinstate your insurance. I was livid and hung up, shortly after the call I received the letter from the postal worker. My insurance was cancelled effective 3/22/2024 at 12:01am, I called them at 9:30am. Connect is the worst insurance out here. At this point I would like them to pay me out for the damages based on the estimate and I will take my truck somewhere else, which by the way is still at the collision shop.CONNECT, Powered by American Family Insurance Response

I was told by an agent that I could cancel my policy since my car was totaled and start up a new one when I finally purchased a new car. But the agent didnt tell me is that once I cancel, I will not be able to get new insurance with them for another 6 months. Also now that I have a lapse in insurance ALL insurance companies see's me at a high risk and is charging insane premiumsReview from Melissa H

absolute worst insurance company. Greedy and Apathetic especially towards elderly people. I called for a full coverage quote while car shopping. When I bought the car, I changed my mind and stated I wanted liability only but they used the old quote and for months charged me the full coverage price saying I wanted full coverage.CONNECT, Powered by American Family Insurance Response

Worst insurance provider I have ever dealt with. Switched both home and auto from ******* to save a couple hundred a year. They dropped my home insurance with 2 weeks notice because I needed a roof replacement, which it doesn't my roof is 15 years old and easily has 5 years left in it which is the standard when insuring property. They also never contacted my mortgage company so my mortgage company did not pay the bill nor did they know I switched so they bought me expensive home insurance. Which appears to conveniently be through a subsidiary... Then they called the state who intern sent me a letter saying my cars registration would be suspended because I was lapsing in insurance. (Not sure this is incorrect but it certainly is annoying. At the very least they could have let me know they were doing it.)Now it appears they sent me to collections and as far as I can tell it's for the full 6 months even though I only had insurance for 1 month. Since they never sent me a letter I have no idea why I was sent to collections.If this isn't resolved or it turns out that the collections call is due to the insurance that my mortgage company bought I will be seeking a lawyer as this is obvious fraud.CONNECT, Powered by American Family Insurance Response

This has been an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE! Been back and forth with CONNECT regarding renewal of my home policy. They requested we trim a tree and paint an already stained cedar deck. After complying and sending in all documentation, informed that their backlog of email (where they told me to send everything), was why they didn't renew my home policy. Now uninsured thanks to disCONNECT, they have no ETA on renewal. Run... run fast and away from this company. SHAME ON YOU COSTCO!CONNECT, Powered by American Family Insurance Response

I submitted a Mileage Verification Form for our two cars for our upcoming renewal. I am retired and my partner now works from home, so the miles we put on our late model cars is now less than half of what was indicated on the renewal. Connect raised our premium as a result, and after nearly one hour on the phone with them during multiple holds, the supervisor I spoke with, Jennifer, had no reasonable explanation of the increase, so we are going to pay more for much less driving.
