      I was charged $337.44 to repair my refrigerator that was never repaired properly. So I called them and made them aware of the issue they sent someone else out to check the refrigerator only to find out that they repaired the wrong part. At this point the repairman tells me that itll cost over $600 to have fridge fixed and I told him no I wasnt interested because I could get a used one for that amount. Thats when the repair man so you tell me that they do have used refrigerator similar to the one that I have if I would like to come in and look around . I asked him if I will get any credit from the money that Ive already paid for is having the refrigerator fixed and he said yes I will get a credit for $209.90 and all I need to do is come into the store. I later came into the store and showed them proof of the credit that I will be receiving once I found what I wanted. Later on they refused to give me the credit that was promised

      The customer's first repair on the refrigerator was done on 1/4/2021. Triangle was contacted again on 3/4/2021 for more issues with the refrigerator which our repairman concluded that it would be very costly to repair. Also that we would issue a credit for the parts used on the first repair toward a purchase of a new or refurbished refrigerator, but we needed the parts back to issue the credit. The customer agreed to this when our tech was in the home on 3/5/2021 for the second repair. An immediate purchase was not made to replace the broken refrigerator. We held a refrigerator for months waiting for the customer to come in to purchase. A voicemail was left on 5/8/2021 at 1:35pm asking if they were still interested in the refrigerator we had, but no return call was received. On 6/25/2021 the customer called the service department and asked about the credit they were suppose to get. Our service manager explained we would be more than willing to issue the credit, but we needed the parts back. The customer explained they no longer had the refrigerator that our parts were in, but still insisted on the credit.
       
      We do not issue credits for no reason and we would never try to take advantage of a customer. It was explained that the parts would have to be returned for a credit to be issued. Since the customer disposed/got rid of the refrigerator we were not able to get the parts back therefore no credit/refund was issued.

      Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

      Most of the statements in their response is incorrect. They did not tell me about the part they needed

      and I never told them that I got rid of the fridge because I still have the fridge.

      We are not trying to take advantage of the situation or customer. Like we previously stated once the parts are returned, a credit will be issued. If the customer still has the refrigerator we did the repair on, we would be more than happy to come remove our parts and issue the customer a credit.
