They incorrectly measured our countertops not leaving the standard 30 inches for our oven so now our oven doesn't fit. We contacted them a week ago and the problem still has not been solved. This was 100 percent their fault and they should be prompt to fix their mistake instead they keep just saying that they will get back to us and no one returns the calls. This should not still be a problem.Business response

Issue was resolved by Designs in Marble today. Communication was occurring since complaint was brought up in email on 2-10-2022 one week ago. ******************* husband of *************************** was our main contact throughout project that we have been in contact with. Plan was set for repair since 2-14-2022. Rebeccas first contact with us was 2-16-2022 with a disgruntled email about our service. We responded to *** within the hour and moved the planned repair date up to 2-17-2022. We resolved the issue today.Customer response

My fireplace surround was installed 10/14. It had staining they said would dry. Ive been trying for weeks for them to remedy the issue. After making a HUGE stink (10+calls and e-mails) their sales person finally got back to me only to have no resolution. ****, (installer) he told me to wait for it to dry 72 hours after install then said to wait an undisclosed amount of time on 11/8. I have never heard back from him after several attempts and sending photos. He claims to be putting a lein on my property without the issue fixed. No end date on how long (6 weeks and counting) for thin set to dry. This companys customer service is garbage. I paid half my **** of front. I want the the remaining invoice removed and to move on from this experience. Beyond over this business.Business response

I agreed to have Designs in Marble measure and install a shower threshold. They indicated that their tile installer would be doing the work. When their employee came to measure he asked if I had the grout from the shower installation (shower was already completed) to use to finish the installation. I showed him what I had and he said that the grout would work. After setting the threshold into place he said that the mortar should dry before grouting and that hopefully he would be able to get back in the morning to finish the project. I called Designs In Mable the next day about what time he would be coming to finish & they said he was now at another big job & would not be available for quite a while. They also indicated that it would cost another $100-$200 for him to grout the thin small space under the threshold or that I should hire another tile installer to finish the job. Designs In Marble did not complete the entire installation but did require payment in full.Business response

First I heard of this. I will personally grout using the grout provided my the customer and collect the payment of $500.00 which customer agreed to and has paid nothing to date. Typically Designs in Marble supplys the material and fabrication of the material only. The tile installer/shower contractor does the installation work. please call me at *** *** **** to complete to your requirements.
