We are highly dissatisfied with Croixside Home Improvements. We DO NOT recommend using them for your kitchen. After the initial estimate with Mike, it has been disappointment after disappointment: - Delays in product orders. - Unreliable timeline (estimated 8-10 weeks resulted in total of 7 months.) - Subpar subcontractors essentially causing our kitchen to be redone twice. - Lack of communication/unprofessional with delayed responses to our concerns throughout the entire process. - Incorrect initial measurements causing reorders. - Reorder color was wrong and owner Mike being dishonest about this. - Did not honor his listed veterans discount. - Purposely vague contract which covered their flaws (we spoke with a lawyer multiple times about our issues that we unfortunately could do nothing about). It took 7 months from contract signing until completion. Seven months! Well the kitchen looks done, the process has been nothing but disheartening. Overall, AVOID THIS COMPANY.

When my install crew failed to do a professional job on their kitchen, My master carpenter and I stepped in and re-refaced the D****** kitchen. We re-Veneered all of the cabinets, we replaced the crown molding, & base shoe and added corner trim to the entire kitchen to give it a beautiful finish. We tightened up all of the hinges and rails and touched up the face frame edges to match the beautiful finish of their grey and white shaker style doors & drawer fronts. In the end their kitchen is beautiful as the before and after pictures posted to our website can attest to. I cannot control what other people do but I am willing to step in and make things right when they do a disservice to my customers.

Mike, YOU have been a disservice to us. You hired the subcontractors therefore you are at fault for their shotty work. Worst off, when we noticed issues mid-project, you were not responsive. After they ‘finished,’ we requested a walk through with you to discuss these issues for which you canceled 4 minutes prior to your expected arrival time. Then we schedule a phone discussion, you did not answer. Schedule yet another, and you were at the airport! Eventually you and your handyman did pay us a visit. You ‘fixed’ our kitchen by reveneering over the **** job ultimately just covering it up. Since then, a door that you had tightened has fallen off, and we have reached out multiple times with no response to have this addressed. You are not willing to step in and make things right for your costumers. Even when we pointed out damaged caused by you during the ‘fix,’ you said “It’s okay, your kitchen is not going to look new forever especially with children.” What about when we asked for compensation for all the duress this has caused us in the center of our home for the last seven months...”I wasn’t planning on it.” Please learn for our mistake and AVOID AVOID AVOID!
