I went to affordable dentures and implants in *********,**. To get new dentures. They took impressions and set up an appointment to remove 1 tooth. The appointment was for 11/2/2023. 30 minutes before I got there, they called me and canceled my appointment because the doctor ******* be there to remove my tooth. They rescheduled the appointment for 11/15/2023. Once again they canceled my appointment 30 minutes before my appointment time. I paid them $3298.00 for the extraction and dentures at my first visit on 10/26/2023. I had to take vacation from work for these appointments only to have them cancel them with very short notice. Am I being scammed out of my money?

This was an unfortunate situation for ***** along with a few other patients who were scheduled on the two days that *********** was out ill with last minute illness (hospital).  Patients were informed as soon as we were made aware of her inability to see patients.  However, his appointment has already been scheduled on 12/27/23 to complete his work.  The denture and partial are ready to be fitted.  Thank you.

started in Nov 23,2021 when I went there to get all my teeth removed and temp dentures and start the treatment for implants. Affordable Dentures went with the treatment plan until they fired the dentist that was doing the work and then don't getting anything else done until Nov 22 2022, that is when I got the implants done. Because they had staffing problems my case keep getting postpone and as of 6-29-2023 I received the Ultimate Dentures which I paid for. But they are not right. The doctor that was there told me not to eat anything hard because the denture will break and because I went almost 90 days with no teeth, he wanted to get something in my mouth before there was anymore jaw movement. We thought I was getting TMJ because of head aches and jaw clicking. On 6-29-2023 I received the Ultimate Dentures that were poorly made per the dentist that put them in.since 6-29-2023, I have gone back to get them corrected to where the dentures are not hurting me. I have been back every week since and they are still hurting.I have asked them for refund or for them to pay for me to go somewhere else to get this done. I have gone *************************************************************************************************************************** fair. ******* their office manage stated that they would paid to get them fix and send me a letter to state this. 7-17-2023 and I still don't have either. I am the point that my next step is to get lawyer to see what can be done.

I spoke with ********************** on July 19, 2023.  I indicated to her that I sent the letter she requested via mail on July 17.  I continue to work with the dentist who is completing her dental work which she has requested.  We are still working out a time for her to receive the impressions to make her final dental appliance.

      Resolved
The process started in November 2021 for full set of dentures with 3 implants. I also had tooth extractions done at the same time. It was supposed to be a waiting period of 4 to 6 months for the implants to heal and attach to the bone properly. After 6 months I was told that the dentist that did the work was let go and they had no one with implant experience to proceed with the procedure. So I waited another 6 months and they hired a dentist with implant experience from another dental practice to work on the patients that needed implant work. When I went to see him I was told my implants were so crooked they couldnt work with them. Suggested a bar. The lab couldnt make a bar because they were so bad. Suggested other parts that would need more work each year. I said no. They said they would take the 3 implants out and I stated I wanted to go with 4 instead of 3. I had told patient relations I would even pay for the 4th one. Not anymore, After talking several times with patient relations they agreed to do this at no extra cost to me. Im the one who has to go through the pain and suffering all over again. Well its been 4 months since these talks began and Im still without dentures. Ive lost weight not to mention stress from all this and all they do is pacify me by setting up appointments to start the process and then they are canceled. Monday was the last canceled appointment. I paid $8745 for this in November of 2021 and have nothing but extracted teeth and 3 crooked implants. Im tired of their games. I want my implants removed! I want 4 new implants put in and then my ultimate fit dentures I paid for at no additional cost to me. Companies should not be allowed to treat senior citizens this way. Im on a fixed income and Im over their lies. I could go on and on but I cant even get an attorney in my area to help because there are none around me for dental malpractice which is what this is. Please help

I have been the individual who has been in contact with ***** through this challenging situation.  We have spoken many times to try to come to a reasonable solution as soon as possible because of the unexpected delays in completing her treatment.  We were able to speak on Monday, April 10 regarding her next appointment scheduled for April 25 to continue her treatment.  Our plan is to continue to get to the outcome that she desires, removal of 3 implants to be replaced with 4 implants (with supported denture) even though she only paid for 2 implants.  Thank you.
