    7/31/2021 - 9/13/2021 Took car to dealership for engine warranty repair, was advised by the service representative that the engine would be replaced. When time came to pick up the car, I was told only the block was replaced under the warranty and old upper engine components were used to put engine back together. Dealership was notified a couple times of engine issues afterwards; car would randomly die (car was taken back in and they could not replicate the issue). Paid $1,985.29, no loaner offered/available.4/08/2022 - 4/29/2022 Notified dealership that there was an oil leak in the engine. Took car back and car was found to have a defective oil pan gasket. Replaced under warranty, no loaner offered/available.5/12/2022 - 6/01/2022 Check engine, oil, battery light came on, and car died. Car had to be towed to the dealership. Was notified that the timing had jumped and valves were bent. Had timing and valves replaced. Paid $175.25 for towing and $3,064.20 for vehicle repair, demanded a loaner, since the first 2 trips were over 2 weeks, each.Due to dealership negligence of using old parts, engine failure was caused amassing in extra costs for engine repair.

    We had our car towed to Van Horn after hitting a raccoon on the highway. After keeping it for a few days they called us and told us it was good to go, they just replaced the oil filter that had been ripped out. 1 day later the car completely died. Again we had it towed to Van Horn. After having the cars for days with no phone call from them, we called and were told it needed a new engine. Weeks past and we never heard anything about the progress of the repairs except when we called. All in all it took 1 month. They didn't give us a call to pick up the car until we contacted Hyundai and told them about our issues. We had to rent a car because Van Horn didn't have any curtesy cars available for a total of $1200. Our towing bill was over $400. The final and last straw was...even after they had our car for a month, after they gave it a clean bill of health, they didn't even wash it. Never once did they apologize for their mistakes or offer any compensation. Avoid this business. We certainly wished we had.
