We retained EC Moving and Storage to pick-up, store and move our household personal goods. We took initial delivery on October 31, 2022, then a second delivery on November 21st of items that had been left at the storage point. We discovered damage to our goods at the time of original delivery, and at the time of the second delivery, and at the time of the first delivery, our home was damage by the movers. Two damaged items were repaired by Atlas Van Lines through a third party, and the remaining damage has not been compensated, despite our proper filing of claims and many e-mail and phone contacts. We understand through both EC Moving and Storage and Atlas Van Lines that EC Moving and Storage is primarily responsible for damage. We have $777 to repair damage and have received no reimbursement for those expenses, and we have $588 of damage yet to be repaired or replaced.Business response

Dear ****,
Unfortunately, this was a timing issue. Claims for interstate traffic are handled by Atlas Van Lines, not EC Moving. We represent Atlas on Interstate moves. ****************** was paid on March 9th. One day after the complaint. I understand his frustration but the valuation he chose would have paid him $400.00. Instead I paid over $5,000.00 through Atlas Van Lines to cover it. It took the Van Lines too long to process but ****************** was given everything he asked for.
I do not feel like his complaint is warranted and it was fixed just not in the timing he would have liked.
I would like this complaint removed.
Please let me know if there is any more information needed form us.
