I leased a car in 2022 and 2 months later had to return to service for acceleration problems. It turns out the car was delivered without any oil and never topped off before delivering to me. I had oil issues since and constantly bringing my car to VW. They ask if it’s leaking on my garage. No! I could pay for diagnostic testing. No VW should. I took it in 3 weeks ago and was told that I can’t keep getting my oil topped off. There a problem. Yes I know but VW won’t do anything. The advisor, Jeremy, topped it off and said it needs to be tested and not topped off. I called the GM, Jerry, explained my issues and your failure to correct it so I want to trade in my car as a courtesy. Ok. I went in and nope! Can’t trade it in. I asked for it to be topped off again and Jeremy came to me again. Telling me it needs an oil change and is over 1,200 miles ago. Well I was here 3 weeks ago and you topped it off and never mentioned anything about an oil change. Jeremy would not top off my oil and brought my car back out of service. I’m supposed to keep driving this car with oil issues and it’s a leased car. They can just trade but won’t. It’s not rightReview from Cory K

I went to Hall Imports service for an oil leak repair and $1600 and a month later I am still trying for resolution. This will now be my sixth trip to Hall VW for this repair… First to diagnose and repair a cam adjuster seal, second to fix a different oil leak sitting under car, third to finally pick car up (noting that plastic cover was not installed and broken crankcase breather tube), fourth to drop car off due to intermittent cold engine starts, and fifth to pick car up with “issue not duplicated”. After I reviewed their “repair”, I found that the ignition coils were sitting in engine oil and they had broke a ignition coil connector. Neither if these were problems prior to their repair. Needless to say I am awaiting resolution and frustrated by their lack of service!Review from Deanitta W

In August, I went to Hall Mazda to pick up a new vehicle I had been waiting for them to get in from another lot. When I arrived at the dealership, I asked where the vehicle was but I was told they were cleaning it up for me. I was then rushed inside by HIM o complete the paperwork. The person that I was with was told to leave and that I would be alright. We completed the paperwork and HE walked me out to the car. We got inside and he showed me several features on the vehicle. We then got out to look at the outside. I found two scratches on the driverside of the vehicle. HE went inside to get finance guy. HE came out and looked at the two scratches and walked around to the other side and found another scratch. I looked back in the vehicle and noticed that one of the stitches in the driver's seat was pulled out. I told HIM I wasn't satisfied with this being a new vehicle. He went back inside and wrote up a “we owe you” and I went home. Days and weeks passed as I called and got the run around about the “we owe you”. Finally, I went to the body shop for them to buff the scratches out. The scratches were still there and now I have buff swirls in the vehicle. I returned to the dealership and talked to Adam and expressed my dissatisfaction. I also told him about the scratches on the door/window molding. The stitch person was there so he worked on the stitch while I sat and talked to Kevin for well over an hour. Sales Manager went out to where the vehicle was with a small bottle of something and a towel. They brought the vehicle out and it appeared to be ok. It was dark outside by now. End result, I have a new vehicle that has buff swirl marks on it, three scratches, and scratched up door/window molding on both sides of the vehicle. I’ve been sick due to the stress of this entire situation. I feel that several “ISMS” came into play. I PRAY that those that committed these unbelievably hateful actions against me! I put a deposit on a vehicle in June, 2020 but ended up purchasing elsewhere. Anyways, 18 months later and I am still waiting for this dealership to refund me my $500 deposit.Review from Cameron H

Long story short, I finally bought a car but I essentially sold myself the vehicle and had to ensure it actually got done. I originally sent an inquiry about this vehicle on 29 April..bear with me. A follow up attempt on 2 May to no avail. Finally on 5 May, six days later...I was contacted about my original inquiry. I had been searching for another vehicle between that time but had no luck.Immediately, I wanted to start the buying process and made my intentions very clear about buying the car. I put a reserve payment down to hold the vehicle in my name and was eager to complete this transaction as quickly as possible. Why? Because I was in the process of moving back to the states from overseas, living out of a hotel and paying for a rental car out of pocket and (trying) to buy a vehicle remote and have it shipped to me. All reasons I explained to the dealership in hopes that they might try to help me speed along the process. Boy, was I wrong. That same day, 5 May, I sent over all necessary documents for them to fill out and send back to my lender to proceed with financing. At this point, Auto Loan set up, reserve payment made and ready to continue. I wait until noon the next day to hear back about the process and want to continue. Dont hear anything. So I call and they set up an appointment for me to talk to one of the managers on 7 May about the down payment, financing, etc. That time came and I waited around for two hours before contacting them only to receive a phone number to call if I dont hear from them soon. So I waited another half an hour and call. Then, again, Im told that I need to wait more and nobody can help me right now. They finally did call me, little to nothing was actually figured out in that conversation. Nobody ever even asked me if/what kind of down payment I was going to make outside of the reserve payment. So I email again and ask them what steps are next to complete this transaction. I receive an email back about what to expect. It wasnt until 8 May that I was told that they never actually received the documents they needed to process my auto loan through my lender AND only after I asked about it...sent them again...received on their end. Fast forward - 10 May, I receive the documents, sign, send them back on Wednesday, make my down payment, they arrive on Thursday 13 May. 18 May, I call my bank to see the status of the loan. The documents needed corrections and were sent back to the dealership the day prior (17 May). Once again, nobody contacted me or followed up with me to explain this. I found this out through my bank and had to verify with the dealership. Im told that I will receive an update once they verify that the documents have been RESENT. 4 hours pass and, once again, you guessed it. I reach out to see if there are any updates...This entire time, mind you, nobody is reaching out to me. Nobody is following up with me via email, phone call or text. I had to walk the dog on this one throughout the entire process. Make every phone call, every email, every follow up, check in, and conditions check. Every time I talked to anyone on the phone, they have an excuse and make it sound like I have to ask them for a favor to do their job.Youd think that I wasnt trying to buy ANYTHING from them this entire time with the complete lack of enthusiasm. Overall, I was riddled with stress every single day trying to make this purchase happen. I honestly and truly believe that if I hadnt, I would have just paid them a down payment and never heard from them again. Not once did I ever feel like I was a customer who was in good hands, if you will. If I had found the car I was looking for somewhere else, I would have never entertained the apathetic, complacent approach that this dealership has with their customers.
